Laughs along with canned laughter to be sociable.

And never leaves a lone item on my plate in case it feels left out?

Anyone with any similar ones?

When tidying I wrap dolls in blankets so they not cold then I tell myself they just dolls and I'm being stupid but I still do it, there's others but I can't think at the mo

Wish the dog a nice day when I leave the house for the day or even just for an hour. Tell him how much I love him

IchWill Mon 08-Apr-19 21:01:02

blush Erm the plate thing....

If I can't eat the final item on my plate, I cut it in half so it's got 'company'!!! shockgrin

Gets coat in horror of her confession

GingerRogers84 Mon 08-Apr-19 21:01:35

I have to get all the beans out of a can. I feel sorry for the ones left behind! It's like their purpose in life or something grin

IchWill Mon 08-Apr-19 21:02:13

@YorkshireIndie I love that.

I kiss my two dogs goodbye when leaving the house and also the photo of my late dog. flowers

IchWill Mon 08-Apr-19 21:03:13

@GingerRogers84 Me too. 😂

BreconBeBuggered Mon 08-Apr-19 21:03:53

I feel bad if I leave a single item of food behind, having taken all its friends away to be eaten. But not once it's cooked, because that would be strange. Right?

I feel guilty if I unplug my phone before it's charged to 100% I imagine it feels frustrated and has the phone equivalent of blue balls.

MonkeyToesOfDoom Mon 08-Apr-19 21:05:25

Assigning some kind of consciousness to inanimate objects has always been my weakness.

The amount of stuffed toys I've bought because they were the last on the shelf in the gift shop is ridiculous.
My daughter's toys all have to be together or I feel sorry for the ousted ones.

GingerRogers84 Mon 08-Apr-19 21:08:07

@IchWill 😂
@MonkeyToesOfDoom I always feel sorry for teddy's and am glad to have children. They can have them without me having to give them away!

I used to (when I drove) feel terribly guilty when the SatNav said sternly "where possible, make a U turn" and always apologised to her.

dayswithaY Mon 08-Apr-19 21:12:21

I do that with food too! I also can't buy just one thing in a shop as it feels rude, today I was going to buy something that cost £4 so I picked up two other things which came to £10. My husband can't take Sainsbury's bags to use in Tesco and vice versa. I remember when I was little being in tears at the dinner table because one of my chips had a black patch on it and the others didn't. I felt sorry for it for being different. I know, I know.

nonevernotever Mon 08-Apr-19 21:14:55

I say thank you to the traffic lights when they change. Not all of them, but all of the ones that change just for me....

Whywonttheyletmeusemyusername Mon 08-Apr-19 21:15:43

I boxed up my kids cuddly toys to putbin storage, and then decided they'd be too cold in the garage, so they had to go in the keep warm....I know, I know

crosser62 Mon 08-Apr-19 21:16:05

I have secret races with people.
I am Olympic medal good.
On a corridor I will beat my unsuspecting rival to the end. By miles.

I don’t share crisps. If it’s my bag, it’s meant for me.
Every single crumb must be consumed by me.
The end.

I CANNOT put a wash on unless it is a full one. Have never put half a load on because it’s not right and my washing machine deserves better.

I can’t spend £2 coins. I save them so will break into a £20 rather than spend a £2 coin.

Bluelonerose Mon 08-Apr-19 21:17:02

I have to empty all the beans out too blush

pasbeaucoupdegendarme Mon 08-Apr-19 21:18:00

The beans thing! Yes!

Also very soft about soft toys... we’ve literally just been given one for our new baby which I don’t find endearing at all, but I feel sorry for it that I don’t take to it.

There are others, I’m sure...

vampirethriller Mon 08-Apr-19 21:21:44

I tell the dog she's in charge when I go out. She's a 10 inch high stone deaf jackadoodle, she'd be useless in a crisis, but I don't like to hurt her feelings.

OutInTheCountry Mon 08-Apr-19 21:25:42

There's a building you pass driving South West out of London (A3?) that has cows on the roof, I could never drive by it without mooing at them.

Ever since watching Toy Story 3 I feel guilty taking toys to the charity shop and imagine them silently sobbing as I walk out the door.

MonkeyToesOfDoom Mon 08-Apr-19 21:32:30

There's some wind turbines in the motorway near us. A field of loads of them, but there's two that are a bit separate and nearer the road. They're called Gemma and Andy and we have to say hello to them whenever we pass.. I don't even if my daughter's not in the car.. especially at night because they look lonely.

cortex10 Mon 08-Apr-19 21:32:49

I say 'thank you' (quietly) to the ATM

ValidUser Mon 08-Apr-19 21:34:57

I also say thanks back to the Tesco self service machines.

llangennith Mon 08-Apr-19 21:40:48

Me too! I live alone so the TV audience is my company.
And I have to stop myself saying thank you to the ATM and the self service tills.

BadPennyNoBiscuit Mon 08-Apr-19 21:42:24

GingerRogers84 I have to leave a bean in the can so it escapes its awful fate.
