Would love to find mine again - it was about Liam Gallagher and I'm pretty sure it was in a thread about the Ariana Grande Manchester concert. A poster said he has been wearing that anorak since 1993 and he won't feel the benefit.

Can't really say why I love it so much but it still makes me laugh out loud and we often quote it as a family, like when teen ds wears his coat at the dinner table.

There was a thread a while ago about parenting and one poster said she approached motherhood as if it was one mass catering challenging. Definitely struck a chord with me.

Snapped and farted is still up there

'YOUR MINGE! YOUR MINGE!'

I can't remember word for word but on a 'what kids eat' type thread someone said if you're giving your child fruit you may as well just give them a bag of haribo. Summed up MN nicely for me.

Can’t remember the exact wording but:

Shove an onion up his arse while I whip him with a leek

On the OXO tower thread where the OP is wondering what to wear, and someone chips in with “a diamanté butt plug and a pained expression” Grin

The poster this week who called parents wanting sex on holiday oversexed baboons!

Report
IvanaPee · 07/04/2019 16:26

There was a thread about an OP’s partner who insisted on sitting around bollock naked.

Someone said something about his penis being like an aardvark resting against his thigh. That was hilarious!

I snapped and farted was made extra brilliant by people thinking it was a typo and OP coming back to say “I have IBS.”

There have been some truly brilliant one-liners.

The worst ever was “are you on glue?” Because of the bizarre way people responded like it was the funniest, most original thing ever. Baffled me then, baffles me now.

What was the 'I am Canadian' thread about?

Report
TheBrilloPad · 07/04/2019 16:28

I like the work conference one where the OP doing the public speaking introduced herself as someone else. It was;

"Hi, I'm Angela Hernandez"

Then everyone looking baffled and someone pipes up "No, I'M Angela Hernandez!"

Still makes me chuckle
