Gah... so much to do today and somehow managed to drink too much last night (I know I know) but now I must rally and fast.

I feel deathly.

What are your tried and tested?

So far I've had toast with Nutella and peanut butter and a pint of sparkling water confused

Full fat fizzy juice Irn Bru is best, Coke a close second. Salt and vinegar squares or any ready salted crisps and a friend egg roll.

Water, sex, carbs and sleep (not necessarily in that order! grin) but works for me!

BlueMerchant Fri 05-Apr-19 07:50:50

Coke(full fat), sausage rolls or croissant, crisps and a chocolate bar used to sort me out.

Tilikum Fri 05-Apr-19 07:51:47

Dioralyte! The best time to have it is before you go to bed at night, but it'll still help this morning.

Duchessgummybuns Fri 05-Apr-19 07:52:21

Sugar coke and a full English

Carbs and carbs followed by a curry in the evening or other spicy food. Basically anything you need to get you through the day, good luck.

Yop yoghurt drink.

Step 1: Pararcetamol or co-codamol for the pain, stugeron for the nausea and a big mug of tea or several.

Step 2: Full English breakfast. If you can keep it down, you're cured.

There is a 3rd stage, but it's optional: pint or 2 of lager shandy. Rehydrates and has just enough alcohol to make you feel a whole let better.

Paracetamol, coke and a MacDonald's

Cside Fri 05-Apr-19 08:19:00

French stick and hummus. I don't know why but it sorts me out, I literally sit in bed with an entire French stick. Maybe it soaks everything up I guess?!

Failing that it's just whatever carbs we have in the house. I could eat for Britain when I'm hungover.

I can't have cups of tea/coffee as the milk makes me feel worse but def agree with PP re something fizzy, Lucozade is my favourite.

Theredjellybean Fri 05-Apr-19 08:20:57

You need a red ambulance... Two paraceteml, two cans full sugar coke, mcdonald's

meladeso Fri 05-Apr-19 08:26:13

@FinallyFluid 2 pints of 6% beer, 2 glasses of red wine and then a whopping G&T that got the better of me. I couldn't drink it and fell asleep with it in my hand! grinblush

DH said he took it off me and left me sleeping while he watched some more tv. I don't remember going to bed! Gaaaaahhhhh
