Just finished the Madeline McCann one and like any true life/crime type documentaries.

OP posts:

The Miami show band one. They were blown up by the UVF with collaboration by the British secret service.

The Ted Bundy Tapes

Abducted in Plain Sight

Evil Genius

All jaw droppingly insane, WTF moments galore.

The one about the staircase.

Abducted In Plain Sight...this is a chilling true story

Dirty John...it's a dramatisation of true events

The Staircase. Fascinating.

Making a Murderer! And every single other one stated!

Also have a look at The Keepers.

Oh yes, Therailone85, I forgot to mention Making a Murderer in my first post.

OP, it’s a definite must watch if you’re into that sort of thing, which you evidently are. I’d watch MaM over all of the others listed thus far (it is quite long though)

The Fyre doc is fascinating- different type of crime tho!

Amanda Knox is also worth a watch once you’ve made you’re way through all the ones listed above.

It’s not as compelling as many others, but interesting nonetheless.

I second Fyre.

It’s not something you might naturally watch if you like true crime but it’s fascinating.

The one about the wine faker, sorry cannot recall the name.

Not Netflix, but have you seen the Yorkshire Ripper one that was on BBC 4 last week? It's in 3 parts, and must be on iPlayer. It was superb - very very shocking in its misogyny and outdated attitudes, and the awful police investigation. I thought it was really extremely well made, very moving, and very shocking.

Abducted in Plain Sight

Fyre

Diana in her words. (The Andrew Morten tapes. A fascinating insight)

The fear of 13 is incredible.

Time : the Kalief Browser story is amazing, but heartbreaking.

Evil Genius and Abducted in Plain Sight, and Longshot are good too.

Adding some of these suggestions to ‘my list’.

As suggested, The Staircase is compelling viewing.

I need to go back to Making a Murderer. Watched most of the first one and then didn’t go back to it.

Started watching Formula 1 which could be interesting, not sure yet.

Love, Death & Robots is fab. Little short stories, a bit crazy and not crime documentaries but add to your watch list all the same.

The Witness, Amanda Knox, Forensic Files, The Keepers, Cropsey.

The Staircase is great.

The Imposter is also chilling- About someone who faked the identity of a missing boy and was returned to the family.

There is a series called dirty money which is very good - all about it financial scandals. the one on maple syrup is probably worth a swerve but the ones on HSBC and VW are great

Just been watching Captive...a series of kidnap/hostage stories. Also have a look at Behind the Curve. It's about people who believe the earth is flat....!!
