AIBU?

Not to remove my bra at night

Posting here as I know I'll get the traffic.

So Lorraine Kelly is in the news as not removing her bra at bedtime. She's getting some schtick for it. What do you all think?

Should you remove your bra at night? Do you. If you do why? If you don't why?

I don't. I am a 'larger' boosomed lady and to be honest I find it uncomfortable having my baps flapping about in bed!!! Grin. Last time I slept without one was when I cremates my shoulders on holiday in Florida and the pain of putting one on was too much. Confused

So. Thoughts?!!!?

Despite the EE size of my knockers, I don't wear a bra in bed. On rare occasions I ever have, I end up with big green pus filled lumps on the underneath.

I had K boobs when pregnant & feeding so wore soft bras at night then. Post babies, they settled to G-GGish and just let them go.

I used to go braless at night until I started breastfeeding, then it was just impractical not to wear one with all the leaking. Just a sleep nursing bra though, it's not very supportive but it holds the nursing pad in.

I'm only a 32B Sad and never wear a bra in bed.

Completely agree with the PP, as soon as I’m home it’s off along with jumping into comfy lounge wear if I’m not going back out - delightful!

I don’t feel comfortable with my bra on in bed. No idea if you “should” remove it. If you do take it off make sure you don’t accidentally leave it in the bed clothes like me and get poked by the hooks.

I have day and night bras - the night ones are non wired and soft. My boobs are enormous and I can’t get comfortable at night without some support.

G here. I can't wait to take mine off at night. You get used to hefting a bosom out of the way of an armpit or whatever Grin

I would be concerned that lymph drainage couldn't Happen properly if wearing a bra 24 hours a day.

Fuck no I take my bra off as soon as I get home
They are uncomfortable enough without sleeping in them

I'm a 34K so do get the need to not have them flapping but I wear a soft crop top type bra in the house and for bed

Off as soon as I get a shower and in my loungewear after tea time.

Hate feeling restricted

I did lots of times when I was younger, they were firmer. These day comfort is much more important to me than style Grin

I wear a bra 24/7 only take off for showers. No idea why? I'm only a B cup but I think it stems from hating my nips touching fabric or being cold in any way. I just like them strapped to me at all times

36F, I take my regular bra off and change into a ‘sleeping’ bra which is stretchy Lycra. I hate the feeling of my boobs swinging around in bed, they always feel sore in the morning if I fall asleep braless!

I keep mine on

As soon as I am in the door it comes off and if I can get away with it on the weekend I'll only put it on when leaving the house.

Jeezo, some of you have humongous boobs but you’ve reminded me to take off my bra as I’ll wake at 2 in the morning probably and wrestle it off. I’m ‘only’ a D cup!

I take mine off. So much comfier without it!

Doesnt the wire dig into you?
I only wear bras outside if the clothes I'm wearing need a bra for reasons of decency. Take them off as soon as possible. But I've only got b cups.

EE here and I always take mine off. The thought of all that underwire and straps digging in.

This sounds like they might escape and run away if they weren't strapped down!

PotterHead1985 · 28/03/2019 23:47

Nope. Doesn't dig in. To be honest I don't even notice I am wearing one most of the time. Don't find them restrictive at all and yet they support. Only time they bother me is when the right strap catches on what I think is a little skin tag on my back and irritates the baxtard, which reminds me I most go to the doc and get it cryo'd off!!!

I hate wearing a bra to bed. But then, I’ve got the chest of a 12 yo boy so mine don’t flap about or bother me if they’re not in a bra Grin
