OK, it's doubtful Brexit is going to happen any time soon but definitely worth coming along and standing up for what we voted for.

Very little coverage in the media - unfortunately no full page spreads in the Standard for us....

It will be going on until early evening so still worth turning up if you can't get the day off work. Lots of great speakers including Julia Hartley Brewer, Claire Fox, Kate Hoey et al.

Is this pro brexit or anti?

It's pro-Brexit and the culmination of the Leave Means Leave march.

Personally, I'd rather shit in my hands and clap.

Pro Brexit! The anti Brexit one was last Saturday.

It’s Pro. I believe the finale is going to be the arrival of the great band of brexit marchers, led by Nigel Farage.

I did t vote leave so won’t be there. However, are you sure this will be safe? I’d be a bit worried in case it kicks off- you get pretty unsavoury types hanging around these sorts of events and with tensions already running high, I’d be wary.

It’s a big fat NO.

Sounds very pro to me with those speakers.

'We' may have been 'you' but it wasn't 'me'. Nor 16 million others.

Christ have you gone yet?

How many more months of this moronic bollocks have we all to deal with?

I'm not worried at all about safety as there are always loads of police about and previous marches have been good humoured.

Nope.

TooManyPaws · 28/03/2019 22:32

Nope. My country voted 2 to 1 to Remain.

I presume this is the English Parliament Square? Haven't been to a rally in ours since the devolution vote and Tony Blair insisted on shaking my hand. National media opposite us wet themselves laughing at me wiping my hand afterwards.

Kate Hoey? Jesus wept

What a lot of rude comments...
Why the Remain voters see themselves as superior is still a mystery to me. Each and every voter is just as valuable a person as any other, regardless of vote, but Leave voters have been insulted non-stop since the result of the referendum.
I wish I could attend to support the Rally as a peaceful demonstration of feelings.
As with any such demonstration, let us hope idiots do not ruin it.

Will you be marching off the edge of a cliff like lemmings? It makes for an excellent Brexit analogy.

You are on a hiding to nothing OP. There will be a very low turnout because

  1. it is in London and London is majority Remain
  2. Leavers outside London can't rush off to London at the drop of hat.

It would be much more effective if people were asked to gather somewhere local - their town hall, perhaps.

London is not representative of the rest of the UK. That is the entire problem.

I would be extremely worried about it all kicking off tomorrow. The yellow vests are coming.

Also, you should be celebrating that it hasn't happened. Your failure to grasp that is very sad.

No thanks, isn't this funded by Tommy Robinson?
