Abstained on all 8!

Rockbird Wed 27-Mar-19 22:56:11

Abstained on all 8 too. Twat.

dirtystinkyrats Wed 27-Mar-19 22:57:39

My MP abstained on all as she is in the Tory cabinet. She voted exactly as she was told on every election even before being in the cabinet though. Not entirely sure she is capable of an original thought.

Decormad38 Wed 27-Mar-19 22:58:38

Annoyed that my MP voted no deal when we were 63% remain in out constitencyangry

SmilingButClueless Wed 27-Mar-19 23:00:07

Not voting is bad, but I think voting against what most of your constituents want is worse (not me, but family live in a Remain area, their MP voted for no deal and against everything else)

SmilingButClueless Wed 27-Mar-19 23:01:41

I’m now wondering whether OP lives in the same constituency as my family member...

TwoBlueFish Wed 27-Mar-19 23:02:32

I’m in a remain area (63%) my MP voted against everything. He’s a knob!

Decormad38 Wed 27-Mar-19 23:02:34

Possibly! My mp is Labour

swirlette Wed 27-Mar-19 23:03:53

So frustrated about this, I also have an MP in the cabinet who isn't allowed out if he might think for himself. How is he supposed to be representing anyone?!

AChickenCalledKorma Wed 27-Mar-19 23:05:57

Against everything. But we already know that he seems incapable of forming an opinion on anything that matters.

drspouse Wed 27-Mar-19 23:06:07

My constituency is marginal leave and my MP has a very low majority but voted with what I know to be their consciousness. I'm not sure why they abstained on No Deal though as that's not controversial.

tickledmagenta Wed 27-Mar-19 23:06:08

My MP didn't vote in a single one. shock

SmilingButClueless Wed 27-Mar-19 23:06:24

Not the same area then, this one is a Tory. Depressing there are a few of them.

My MP voted for the customs union and Common Market 2.0 and against everything else.

drspouse Wed 27-Mar-19 23:06:47

*conscience

tickledmagenta Wed 27-Mar-19 23:06:52

@dirtystinkyrats I think we've got the same MP. probably busy looking after the Lido confused

CloserIAm2Fine Wed 27-Mar-19 23:08:57

Mine voted for both no deal and revoke article 50, what an absolute knob! And just shows what a farce this whole shitshow is.

Bananasarenottheonlyfruit Wed 27-Mar-19 23:11:26

Mine voted against all except Revoke and 2nd referendum. Maybe there is such a thing as a good Tory after all!

ThisThatAndTother Wed 27-Mar-19 23:12:06

Mine voted for 1&8 and against the rest...I live in a big majority leave area (although I'm a remainer).

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer Wed 27-Mar-19 23:12:16

Aye on 1 and 8

Nay on the others

I can't even remember what 1 and 8 were....my brain is fried

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer Wed 27-Mar-19 23:12:51

Oooh jinx this

hipposarerad Wed 27-Mar-19 23:14:13

Like an absolute cunt

Pillowaddict Wed 27-Mar-19 23:14:38

Thankfully mine voted to revoke, for 2nd referendum and against no deal. For ehat it's worth. Absolutely disgusted with waste of space, ruinous bastards not worth a penny of their salaries voting against constituents' majority views. This whole thing is a fucking farce, and the majority of MPs not only unrepresentative of the wider population, but representative only of the horrible, bigoted and priveliged few.

CloserIAm2Fine Wed 27-Mar-19 23:15:42

Oops, I was reading it wrong blush he actually voted quite sensibly. As you were.
