A colleague of DH bought DS (3) a Lindt bunny st Christmas.

Generally we don’t let DS have much chocolate, usually only a tiny bar, or the odd small packet of haribo or piece of cake at parties or when we are out for coffee.

WIBU to eat it and replace it with some toy cars? (He loves toy cars)

He has no idea the bunny exists, so it’s not like he will be upset

Eat the bunny grin

Munchkingoat Wed 27-Mar-19 20:25:47

Totally eat it

Daffodil77 Wed 27-Mar-19 20:27:15

How have you not eaten it already!? 😂😂

WeCameToDance Wed 27-Mar-19 20:27:45

I'm just amazed you managed to hold off eating it for this long! Eat the bunny, he doesn't know that it exists and won't appreciate it. Buy him some cars and if your feeling really guilty some chocolate buttons.

BlueMerchant Wed 27-Mar-19 20:28:14

I'd probably share it. Give him a little bit and eat the rest then if he's had some you can't feel guilty. Get him some cars too!

Eat ittttt. I've heard that some parents buy their children selection boxes at Christmas, and then open them and scoff the contents. Buy the replacement chocolates the next day, refill the box and glue it up. Multiple times up to the big day. So I've heard.......cough.

Eat the bunny, but buy him another Easter egg for Easter

Deadringer Wed 27-Mar-19 20:29:44

God yes eat the bunny. Hang on, you have it since Christmas???

Alsbals Wed 27-Mar-19 20:29:45

First world problems eh! 😂😂

I’d have eaten it months ago! 😁😁

TrixieFranklin Wed 27-Mar-19 20:30:02

WheelyCote Wed 27-Mar-19 20:30:14

MummatoaMunchkin Wed 27-Mar-19 20:30:39

lexiconmistress Wed 27-Mar-19 20:31:54

Eat the bunny but just leave him half a paw or something.

Icklepup Wed 27-Mar-19 20:32:19

I'd eat it but share a little bit with him and get him the toy cars

Newadventure Wed 27-Mar-19 20:32:56

Dd got three advent calendars in total because I kept eating them, i also ate one of her selection boxes a week before Christmas and she was none the wiser.. eat the bunny!!

Justheretogiveaviewfrommyworld Wed 27-Mar-19 20:34:06

Just eat it. If he's not seen it you don't need to buy the cars! grin

Mammylamb Wed 27-Mar-19 20:34:26

Hes Still got quite a lot of sweets left over from Christmas actually. Last month we found an Easter egg from last year in the cupboard.

In case you are all thinking I’m some super slim fitness healthy eating person; I’m actually pretty chubby. But these things get forgotten about st the back of the cupboard

Sashkin Wed 27-Mar-19 20:37:51

I'd eat it on principle. It isn't good for him to get a taste for chocolate (DS is still begging for "kek" every time we walk into the kitchen, and it's two weeks after his bloody birthday).

IncrediblySadToo Wed 27-Mar-19 20:39:36

Bunny? What bunny?!

<burp>

Wallsbangers Wed 27-Mar-19 20:40:42

Eat it.

sar302 Wed 27-Mar-19 20:47:19

People bought my one year old chocolate for Christmas. He doesn't eat chocolate. He kindly donated it to me grin

thesnapandfartisinfallible Wed 27-Mar-19 20:49:17

Buy him a mini Lindt bunny, you know the tiny ones for a quid in Wilko and eat the big one. For his own good obviously.

DeRigueurMortis Wed 27-Mar-19 20:56:52

My DS kindly donated his Lindt Bunny to me.

Not that he knows he did....but he's got 3 Easter eggs already from family that he's already 80% eaten and more to come.

As a good parent I think it was my moral duty to eat the bunny and I'd do it again - yes I'm shameless...

dottyp0104 Wed 27-Mar-19 20:58:35

@Mammylamb Eat it!!
But I am really puzzled about how you can 'forget' about it at the back of the cupboard 😂😂 that would never happen in this house. (Especiallly lindt bunnies and reindeers! 🤭)
