Over the weekend my c section scar from just under 10 years started bleeding and weeping. I was feeling very unwell and all I want to do was sleep. My GP could not see me and I explained to the receptionist what was wrong and her advice was to attend a&e. I attended an urgent treatment centre rather than a&e and saw a doctor who refer me to the surgeons. They wanted to check I had no infection in my blood stream so done bloods. These came back and it was only slightly raised. I also had a temperature and have been taking regular paracetamol for and the doctor saw I was tachycardia. I was sent home and was told to just continue taking the paracetamol and to change the dressing regularly. I have woke up this morning and changed the dressing to be met with this and a very foul smell. Once again my GP has no emergency appointments left. AIBU to go to another urgent care centre?
