Just had enough really... same shit every week and I hate Sunday evenings...pile of ironing, trying to bath kids and get things ready for school ready for a full week of work! It's just relentless and tiring!
I seem to work and still not able to afford a nice house and nice thing!! SadSad

I think we all get times like that.
Hence my name, life can be a struggle at times.
Have you good friends? Set aside a little "me time " every day, even it only is 15 mins .
Don't try to be too perfect, everything does not need ironed.
Social media implies everyone has wonderful lives. But that's not reality.
Hope things improve.

Yes it can be. But be thankful if that’s your only worry I’d say. Be grateful you have a job, a roof over your head, kids to get ready for the week.

I know that’s sound sickly positive but this time last year I’d been told my husband wouldnt survive the weekend as he had a brain tumour. He did survive but then passed three months later. So after that I see things completely differently. And yes I’ve spent the day doing the housework, getting kids ready for school but rather that than where I was last year.

*@Widowodiw* - that's very sad. Thanks
@howlongwilliloveyou - sounds a bit weird but doing a gratitude thing can help. E.g. everyday, think of 3 things that you are grateful for; could be listening to the birds sing, having a perfect cup of tea (or wine), a funny thing DC said, or the commute went smoothly.
It helps to write them down.
I started doing it recently. It helps put things in perspective.

It's not Monday yet!
I've got wine!
Baptiste is on in half an hour (exclamation marks optional).

Yes, life is shit sometimes, but sometimes it’s really really brilliant and you appreciate the good bits so much more because of the shit bits.

Why not change your routine so you’re not doing those things on a Sunday evening, get them out of the way on Saturday morning and use your Sunday evening to relax?

Boring = absolutely fine now
Drama = omg
Really boring now = everyone is fine and I don't have to do anything

I think you just have to adjust you expectations.

Il just say don't bother ironing. Ironing makes life shit. My tumble dryer gets the creases out of everything. I iron five shirts a week for my husbands work or he does it. It takes a maximum of 15 mins.
