How do I turn off WiFi from a hub? Via the desktop computer,? To prevent ps4 online usage (Ds is banned for a few days) thanks

I just take the gadget away and store in a bag in various hiding places around the house when DS is lax with A level revision, it cured him. Turning off the wifi would inconvenience others in our home.

Unplug the hub.

my sister always found DNephew found ways around it like attaching to neighbours wifi or his phone. Much easier to take the wire that plugs it into the wall smile

Easiest way. Either remove the controller or the PS4 itself.

Sorry, just to clarify. Is he banned from playing the PS4 or just from playing it online?

Take the controllers. It'll hurt more.

Online ban, not a total ban

What if you changed the WiFi password and didn't tell him the new one?

I’d go with NopeNi and change the WiFi password. That way you can still use it.

We use an app called Circle (it’s by Disney). Each person in the house has a profile and you can manage it all separately. Kids get cut off at a certain time, and you can pause access whenever you want.

Depending on the router setup, you can log in to it and apply MAC Address filtering. Once you identify which address the device is, you can block it. You will need to know how to log in to the router.
