And I'm thinking I might fall off my chair cos I've been eye-rolling so hard at the pretentious tripe this guy is coming out with.

Oo I had this a few weeks ago in a restaurant where the tables were practically on top of each other. The couple next to us were on a date and he was a walking red flag. Wouldn't let her choose her own wine then got arsey when she told the waiter what she actually wanted. He even said "oh you're a confident one aren't you" when she politely insisted on drinking what she wanted. Grrr.
