The job is in the design industry, creative/admin/customer facing job. I love this skirt, when I wear it I feel confident. If I dress it up I think it would be good choice for the interview. What do you think?

SunnySideUpX Sat 16-Mar-19 14:40:06

To be working in an arty industry I think it's a fitting choice!

Mammyloveswine Sat 16-Mar-19 14:40:46

I would team it with a black blouse and black heels. Good luck!

Smileyaxolotl1 Sat 16-Mar-19 14:40:59

Yes, as long as you dressed it up- blouse, jacket, heels for example it would look fine for an interview especially in a creative industry.

formerbabe Sat 16-Mar-19 14:41:30

Yes fine

Jax07 Sat 16-Mar-19 14:44:01

Well. I was thinking either white blouse/coral almost red heels or black heels and black blouse. But glad everyone seems to agree that the skirt is appropriate for an interview 😊

It's very nice indeed...may I ask where you bought it?

burritofan Sat 16-Mar-19 14:47:08

That's gorgeous and totes appropes for a creative industry. Will look great with coral/red heels and any top tbh. If that shape didn't look terrible on me I would try to steal it from you, it's fab.

Jencottage Sat 16-Mar-19 14:59:40

That's lovely ! Where is it from ?

Annietheacrobat Sat 16-Mar-19 15:00:54

Stacey Solomon collection for primary

Annietheacrobat Sat 16-Mar-19 15:01:12

Primark

Jax07 Sat 16-Mar-19 15:01:44

It is from Primark. Although I bought it on eBay as it was sold out in the primark stores

Jax07 Sat 16-Mar-19 15:03:04

Thanks for the comments everyone. Fingers crossed interview will go well 😊

Quintella Sat 16-Mar-19 15:05:52

Absolutely fine! I work in a creative industry and people wearing formal suits for interview is just never seen in my experience.

Sparklesocks Sat 16-Mar-19 15:07:29

Absolutely - I think you can dress smartly for interviews without need the standard white blouse and black skirt - good luck with it!

newmumFeb17 Sat 16-Mar-19 15:13:41

I've got this skirt and love it 🙂 good luck with your interview!

Poloshot Sat 16-Mar-19 15:15:17

My eyes hurt

Boysey45 Sat 16-Mar-19 15:18:15

Yes it will be fine, what are the brown splodges? seashells?

DarlingNikita Sat 16-Mar-19 15:23:01

I like it a lot. I wouldn't wear it with black or white; that's a bit boring. A grey top would be nice if you want to stay quite neutral, or coral or a hotter pink otherwise.

TheVanguardSix Sat 16-Mar-19 15:25:29

I love it! Yes! Perfect for the industry you're in. Would go nicely with a cocoa coloured jumper/ knitwear.

SimonitesSocks Sat 16-Mar-19 15:27:14

It's lovely! I used to work in the advertising industry many years ago - it would have been perfect then and I guess it's still perfect now!

Jax07 Sat 16-Mar-19 15:29:41

Well, I usually get very hot when I'm nervous a bit so can't wear it with jumper for the interview. I would be sweating like a horse 😳😂 I think my red shoes will add an extra bit of colour hence why I want to go with a white blouse. I don't want too many colours... might look like a parrot then.

The pattern on the skirt is a larger leopard pattern 😊

greenpop21 Sat 16-Mar-19 15:32:00

Yes it's not too casual at all. Good luck!

Amber0685 Sat 16-Mar-19 15:32:40

That will look lovely OP, white blouse is also good if you sweat. Good luck!

greenpop21 Sat 16-Mar-19 15:32:46

Nice crisp white shirt/blouse and flat brogues or loafers could look good.

americandream Sat 16-Mar-19 15:33:58

It's cute @Jax07 Nice colour! I didn't even know Stacey Solomon designed her own stuff!

And yeah, as people are saying; it's a good choice for the job you're going for... smile

Good luck to ya. grin

SoupDragon Sat 16-Mar-19 15:46:38

The skirt is fine but I dont think I would add red/coral shoes into the mix.

CoffeeCoffeeTea Sat 16-Mar-19 20:45:05

As long as you do not wear a bra/crop top I think you'll be ok

Jax07 Sun 17-Mar-19 07:49:27

Haha I wasn't just going to wear it with a bra 😂

FiveLittlePigs Sun 17-Mar-19 08:08:48

I didn't even know Stacey Solomon designed her own stuff!

It's just a Z list "celebrity" name on an item of clothing that she picked for her clothing range. She is not a fashion designer.

I was surprised tbh as the skirt looks like it should be in M&S per una range. confused

FemalePersonator Sun 17-Mar-19 08:21:58

It's perfect!

Fingers crossed that the interview goes well and that you get the job, OP.

scuddingxx Sun 17-Mar-19 08:24:13

Gorgeous!

Jax07 Sun 17-Mar-19 09:20:01

Yes just to clarify I didn't buy the skirt because it has been 'designed' by Stacey Solomon. Just like the pattern and it was cheap as chips.
