Cancelling the bloody lot

I do not like to be lied to

2nd lady I spoke to after being on hold for a supervisor, said the reason it was £49 was becasue an existing discount on my account runs out in March

Might have been nice if any one of the previous 3 people I spoke to before today had mentioned that

So where do I get Broadband/TV & phone from?

It seems very like mis-selling

My advice is don’t go anywhere near virgin media at all

Yes I’d be suspicious too, you have no evidence of what you agreed if it’s not in writing so it’s not unreasonable for you to request it!

They don't seem to understand their documentation forms part of thier contract so if it's wrong......

Based on my experiences with virgin media if you don't have the agreed price in writing they will have you over a barrel.

You should get a contract you have to sign. Be interesting to see what price is on that.

Not according to them £45 is the price I will pay - they just can't send me an email saying that

Sparklesocks Thu 07-Mar-19 18:50:46

Any chance that’s with VAT/fees etc?

KatyMac Thu 07-Mar-19 18:50:04

Ok phoned up today to add Broadband

Agreed a price of £45

Got an email for £49

They seem to think I am odd wanting an email saying £45 - of course it will be £45 it just says £49

AIBU to think if I let it stand they can ask for £49 at any time.......
