Mute your phone unless talking.

Cons call software generally lets you link your phone to the list - use the ID.

Organiser - attendees are all listed so we don't need to wait for ten minutes at the start with you going "who just joined?"

Yes to the first one for sure. There’s one bloke in regularly on calls with who always forgets - he is in a contact centre so noisy!

The second two aren’t consistent. We use webex at work - you can dial in from a phone, it only shows you who’s on if you also log in using a computer. Personally I don’t often do that, unless there’s lots of attendees or I don’t know them all.

It is annoying though, especially when you say “right, let’s crack on as we’ve only got half an hour and five minutes in John isn’t here- oh hello John, no worries we’re juat kicking off...”
