Will it scar him for life if I let him find out for himself that he it is, in fact, 'bread sticks' he loves, not "big d*cks'?!

No more so than us allowing our DD to shout “DICK MAN!” at the top of her voice, every time she spots anything that resembles her favourite book character, Stick Man. It goes down especially well at the park amongst other parents Grin

Ahh we have this with DC at the moment. When they see a large branch on a walk they shout ‘Daddy Dick!’
DH chuckles and I just say ‘Yes, that’s a very big stick!’ I have to hide my laugh as if they see me laughing they shout it louder.
They also call milk ‘Cock!’ No idea why.

My dd called popcorn cockporn for a while. She proudly requested it at the cinema which was truly the best day of my life.

Dd asked me earlier if I could "do her a flavour". 😂 I didn't correct her it was too cute!

DD used to say ‘no bed’ to DH many times fast to avoid bed time when she was little....

“NOB-ED... NOB-ED... NOB-ED” at her Dad always made me chuckle GrinGrin

Ooh DS also loves a bit of 'cockporn!'

DS1 (4) has called cucumber “cucumbumber” so long that it is now part of our standard home vocabulary. He knows it’s not the right way to say it, but likes the sound of it so much (as it happens, so do I!) that he carries on and tells other people proudly what he calls it Grin

YANBU
We had cockporn too

Ds once out his underwear on backwards and spent the day telling everyone the Willy was at his bum Blush

I used to always say ‘oh we must write that down’ but we never did.
Enjoy the innocence

DS got confused looking at a sticker book and instead of saying 'banana truck' yelled something that sounded very much like 'fucking nana'- he associates this phrase with a picture of Commissioner Gordon (batman) which was next to the truck in the book. DH couldn't stop laughing and made him do it several times, which of course cemented it in his memory...

When ds starts jumping in muddy puddles instead of muddy cuddles I think I'll cry!

We’re struggling with stick/dick at the moment. Slightly unfortunate as one day last week my toddler became obsessed with a stick picked up at nursery which led to lots of (top volume) shouting while out and about of:

Where’s my stick
I need stick
I want to play with my stick
I need to show daddy my stick
I love my stick
Daddy gave mummy stick etc

Mortifying...

My DS has delayed and unclear speech bless him, but I do giggle when he requests assholes for tea, or as you and I may call them, waffles

We had cumcuber. DS has long since learnt the correct word but 10 years later we all still call it that. Along with bomato instead of tomato.

I once asked VERY loudly on a packed bus for my condoms from my mum.

We had just been to a museum with a park collecting conkers.

Neither my mum nor my sister has ever let me forget that one. Blush

Our kids are well past saying jumpoline, yummylade, hitabottomus and cumumber. But me and their dad will now mispronounce these words forever.

I had some funny ones in November with fire works and rockets, not sure how both of them turn into a version of fuck but they did 😂

No I’d leave him too it. It’s too sweet to correct for now. When I told DGD I couldn’t lift her into the air when she sat on my leg because I’ve got a bad ankle she told me I could get my legs taken off and the doctor would give me ‘prophetic’ ones I couldn’t bear to correct her. The thought of new prophetic legs is too funny.
