To wonder why most corner sofas go to look so terrible

Im looking for a second hand, preferably leather corner sofa, and every single one i have found on the facebook marketplace is mishappen, out of shape and saggy. Even the ones that claim to be a year old look like something i would take to the fucking skip. The fabric ones seem to be the worst.

Because of the shape/size of my living room- i have to have a corner sofa. How can i find one that doesnt go to look like shit in a year? I have around £1300 to spend.

We bought a corner sofa four years ago, and like you say after a year it just looked like a sack of potatoes.

In fairness though, my sister has a more structured L-shape from M&S and it still looks like new after 2 years, so it might depend on the retailer.

I can’t wait to replace mine but with a toddler and another on the way there’s no point spending £££ on a new one just yet.

If you have that much to spend buy one new and get fibre filling so it lasts

Does it need to be second hand? If you could live without it being leather, you could get a new one from Nabru and have a hefty amount of change from £1300.

We've had ours for 3 years and they are still in great condition. The quality is great for the money.

Our IKEA faux leather one has held its shape beautifully, its 8 years old now! Cheap too! It's a corner sofa that folds into a double bed and has storage space inside. Not very soft to sit on which is probably why it hasn't sagged!

I bought a fabric corner sofa from Furniture Warehouse about 5 years ago for under £1,000 and it still looks as good as it did the day I bought it. It's used daily but not by children or dogs. Our cleaner plumps the cushions up every other week, but otherwise that's it.
