Yes and months of bad headaches. It took so many trips to the Drs, a trip to A&E, an MRI and various treatments for migraines (that needed me to be on contraception) before I saw a different GP who suggested I stop it! Cleared up in a matter of weeks.

Interesting! I just feel constantly light-headed and dizzy. Is it a blood pressure thing then? Don’t want an implant, (they give me the heebe jeebies) every other way it’s been great, haven’t had any bleeding and went on it as my periods post-preg were horrendous. Just can’t go on with this dizziness anymore.

Oh god yes, the mood swings, the constant breakthrough bleeding. The GP kept inisiting I give it time but 10 months later I switched to Noriday, no problem.

I'm not sure why it happened it was a bit strange. It just came on gradually then the headaches started. I had to take a lot of time off work with it. I'd been on it about a year before I had any problems so it wasn't an instant link in my head (Or the GPs). I switched to the coil which worked well for me.

I used to bleed on and off all the time and it was a weird brown colour.

Another friend of mine had very strange reactions to it yet another was on it for 10 years and loved it

I after about 12 months on it I started bleeding, which only stopped 6 months later - and I'm talking full on period level bleeding, not just spotting! By the time the GP would agree that it was the cerazette and prescribe something else, I was so anemic I have no idea how I was still upright!!

I went on cerazette, had a 5-6 week bleedd, mood swings, weight gain, acne, greasy hair. After 10 months the doctors let me switch and I’ve gone back to normal.

I haven’t really had any side effects, although it stops my period entirely

I had to come off cerazette, I was okay at the beginning apart from mood swings and then I began bleeding everyday which lasted six months but went away when I stopped taking it.

I had a really bad time on it
