Anyone else envy Kaia Gerber's thighs? Daily Rail acting all disgusted over 'shocking' pics.

no idea who that is but as a rule I don't envy other peoples thighs, no.

She’s a teenaged supermodel Confused. Why would I be envious or think her legs were attainable to/for me (not a teenaged supermodel)? Plus, model shots are always photoshopped/airbrushed to within an inch of their lives.

Ghosty, she’s Cindy Crawford’s DD.

she's teenage? Well I absolutely won't be looking at her thighs or imagining I could have her legs at 48!

Yep, she’s 17 (according to wiki)

I envy anyone whose thighs don’t rub together resulting in painful chafing and the need to purchase new jeans every 6 months...

What thighs? All I see is a gap where her thighs should be. Not much to envy there. A few months eating tissue paper and you could have the same gaping chasm between your legs though!

Skinny thighs to me are not attractive when they're ridiculously thin.

The most gorgeous thighs are those that have a decent bit of muscle and have a lovely shape to them.

I try not to worry about other people's bodies, unless they are hurting and ask my for help.

I just looked at the photo.

Her thighs are practically the same width as her calves... not for me sorry.

I would be worried about anyone using her body as a role model - potentially damaging.

Far too thin. Nothing to envy at all.

SinisterBumFacedCat · 28/02/2019 17:57

No, too thin for me. Would just look out of property with the rest of my body!

I have often wished I had slimmer thighs but wouldn't want stick thin ones with a gap you could drive a bus through. The image of concentration camp survivors haunts me when I see those really thin legs, and bodies too. Very sad to see.

I notice Gemma Collins is also featured in today's Daily Hate. What if I said:

"A few months eating pizza and you could have the same disgusting blubber between your legs though!"
"Fat thighs to me are not attractive when they're ridiculously fat."
"I would be worried about anyone using her body as a role model"
"Far too fat. Nothing to envy at all."
"No, too fat for me."

Not very nice is it? Body shaming, of any description, is not OK. Has it occurred to you that, as the daughter of Cindy Crawford, Ms. Gerber's thighs are simply genetic?

Nothing wrong with them but I wouldn’t want them myself, no.

I didn't know who she was so I had to Google. I don't envy her thighs, no. I don't want thin thighs myself.

Nope. I'm a power lifter so love muscly thighs. Why would you want legs with no muscle Confused

I haven't seen her but i grew out of envying women with a different body shape to me at about her age. So no.

Her mum has slim thighs, hers are painfully thin.

Beautiful, beautiful face.

I would have loved my thighs to look like that at 17. At 31, I have no desire to look like that. Teenage bodies are different from grown adult bodies and that’s fine - nothing to be envious about!

Deadbudgie · 28/02/2019 18:25

If that’s how she likes her thighs good for her but not the look I go for personally.

@Klopptimist I don't really get what point you're making. It would be worrying if people used GC as a role model and she's constantly criticised for being fat.

You're being willfully naive in my opinion if you're really saying that supermodels maintain their stick thin figures thanks to good genetics.

Klopptimist I was about to say something similar but you have nailed it. Very well expressed. Who on earth thinks it’s acceptable to criticise the body of a 17 year old in those terms? She’s a real person with real feelings and she’s very young. It’s hateful behaviour.

I wish my own thighs were slimmer, so a better version of my own thighs would be good but I wouldn't want someone else's.

Report
MayFayner · 28/02/2019 18:36

DD is 17 and she has this kind of body. It has nothing to do with what she eats/ doesn’t eat. It’s because she’s 17.

At 42, I’m happy with my own age-appropriate thighs Grin
