AIBU to ask is this a weird food combination?

Today I made brunch.
A slightly overdone omelette with a side of hummus and some gerkins
DH thinks this is a weird combo I think it’s delish

What food combinations do you eat that you love that everyone else thinks is weird?!

Mine is condiments.
I have to have salt & vinegar on chow mein.
Chip sandwich has to have butter, red sauce, brown sauce and mayonnaise.

Don’t think I have any weird food combos.
Dp however eats tuna, cucumber, cheese and jam sandwiches!
I have to leave the room while he eats it not envy

I love tomato and hard boiled egg on toast. DSis thinks this is odd.

I also love apple slices smeared with Peanut Butter (crunchy obvs).

I would put cheese on pretty much everything given half the chance. But that’s not weird, that’s just sensible!

Also - I’m sure I’ve had hummus and poached eggs on toast at Bill’s or some other restaurant that is well known for brunch so the egg / hummus combo isn’t unheard of. I thought it was nice!

I’m with your DH on this - although I wouldn’t eat those things separately either if I’m honest.

Fermented stuff and cheese! I don't think any of these are weird but so many people have recoiled when they see what I'm eating.

Egg on toast, cheese and kimchi

Kimchi omelette

Pickled radish on rice with sausages

Sauerkraut and cheese toastie

Fried pickles with feta

Pickled Beetroot and feta

Pickled cucumber on a ham sandwich

Bacon sandwiches without bacon - toast, spread, ketchup and mayo. mmm!

I had a hummus, sauerkraut and olive sandwich for breakfast today. I'm not even sorry.

My favourite (almost daily) lunch is a wholemeal tortilla wrap filled with ham, pickled egg, salad, Greek yoghurt and Tabasco sauce.
I've offered to make one for other people but no one has ever said yes.
