DP of a few years. One DC. I'm not in love with him anymore. I need to end things but I am struggling to. I don't know why. It's so hard. I know I don't want to be with him anymore but am fairly I'm about to break his heart. I can't stay with him though simply to prevent his heartbreak as that's no way for our son to learn about relationships.
Can anyone advise? I've got that butterfly feeling thinking about it and my heart is in my throat. Why is breaking up so hard? I need to rip the band aid off but I feel like I'm inflicting so much pain on him that I keep holding off... help!
