To be angry at dh when he has a hissy fit.....

....in the middle of dinner because i put courgette in it and it's 'mouldy cucumber' apparantly. then i storm off as dd (who is a very poor eater, esp when it comes to veg) then pushes her plate away saying 'mouldy cumber' and its like we're back 6 months with her not eating????

no.

but you will get your revenge one day when dh decides that it's not acceptable dd saying things like 'mouldy cumber', 'that's pooey' ' that's yukky' and tries to stop them doing it. I'm enjoying watching dh correcting dds for saying things he says, cos he gets much more frustrated about their behaviour than i do.

just keep .

oh, and if you make things like lasagne, process courgette and stuff down to the consistency of mince and add it to some mince and cook as normal. they'll never know they've eaten it

i already process veg into curry sauces etc. but this was mixed veg and rice with fried pork, he asked for it, i make it and he throws a strop!

arrrrrrggggghhhh!

oh and then while im sat in the bedroom he was getting stressed at dd coz she wasnt eating.........when he wasnt eating

Tell him to make his own bleddy dinner next time. The least he could do is be polite plus set a good example. YAdefinitelyNBU

but the thing is....if i told him to make his own dinner he wouldnt eat.....for days on end and thats gets me too....i think im a bit sensitive!

YANBU. Tell him if he carries on like this you'll enroll him in Cod's toddler boot camp (obv. don't let on it's actually for potty training).

I don't like courgettes much tbh but I wouldn't be so childish or rude or set such a bad example to ds.

keep going with the mouldy cucumber, mine actually ate a piece last week that I'd roasted with assorted other veg, and shock, horror, he declared 'this stuff is actually alright' its only taken 6 years of me putting it on his plate to realise this?

now I come to think of it, 'mouldy cucumber' is a v. good description of a courgette. YA still NBU, though.

edam good idea, id love to see him on a potty training boot camp, he cant get his pee in the toilet either!!!
