Just that really...
I'm on maternity leave but I'm struggling to sort my return to work hours around my kids.
Any ideas?
Thank-you!

I am an artist. After art school I pursued a career in Television Set design which I left to be a stay at home Mum. Now both mine are in school I've returned to painting and exhibiting my art. Also taking commissions. I find it fits in great with school and school holidays.

I've done bookkeeping from home and that is very flexible.

I’m a personal tutor and most of my students come to me. It helps if you have a spare room to use as a classroom. It’s not the best money in the world, £25-£35 an hour are the going rates in my area. But I get to spend everyday with my ds and don’t have any childcare costs because I only teach after my dp gets home from work.

I'm a will writer and always have a lot (too much!) work on, but I do try to balance the work with hobbies, seeing friends and family.

Qualified as a legal executive and specialised as a divorce lawyer for 25 years before retraining and setting up my freelance practice.

I have a Virtual PA who is super efficient and keeps things sane and ticking over for me in terms of bookings and holding the fort while I'm on extended holidays. Is that something you may be interested in?

@mumblechum0 I've actually tried to look into being a virtual PA over the last few days! I think that would be right up my street Smile could you let me know how it all works please?

I’m working outside the home now, but I used to mark assignments for a distance learning course.

A friend makes hair bows. She built up to a business making 2k a month. Went to school and craft fairs, sells through FB, all made at home in the evenings.

I'd love to be a virtual PA, definitely something I'm going to look into

I studied social media management 2 years ago. No marketing background. I got a fantastic, if low paid, client quite quickly through the course providers, but had to stop when I fell pregnant as I felt like shit. DD is now 9 months and I'm doing 2.5 hours per week for a friend's business. Obviously that's now bringing in much but it's enough for now. It's flexible but you need confidence to approach businesses and offer your services
