So my friend is getting her hair done tomorrow and we've agreed to go out afterwards.
I agreed to go to the hairdressers with her and wait but I've just remembered I need to go to the doctors.
I live near the salon (10 min walk ) and she said she would drive to mine and leave her car and walk to the salon as she's scared driving into town.
She's asked me will I walk her into town and walk back up and meet her when she's done.
I said would it not be easier to just drive into town.
She's refused and expects me to walk her there and back.
Aibu to not?
I even suggested il get her a Uber on my account and pay.
Just tomorrow is so busy.

She said she doesn't know the way but it's literally a straight road and she's walked it so many times with me.

She's very demanding.
I shouldn't of originally agreed to sit with her for 2 hours whilst she was getting her hair done.
Obviously now I need to go to doctors which clashes with hair apt.
After her hair she wants to come back to mine and change her clothes..or I would have just met her.
So I would be walking into town to walk her to mine to then go back.

Why on earth would you have waited at the hairdresser anyway? What a waste of your time! What is her reasoning for needing to be accompanied and why would you offer to pay for a taxi for her?

It's not selfish to go to a doctor's appointment. It is selfish to expect a friend to cancel a doctor's appointment to 'walk you to the hairdresser'. Unless your friend is 5 years old, she is the selfish one.
