AIBU to think everyone should know what epoxy repair putty is?

This is probably not the proper place for this but epoxy repair putty is the best ever and I just want people to know what it is. It is a two part putty that is kneaded together and then sets hard.
I have repaired our vaccum cleaner which had two great cracks and is now perfectly usable. Also used it on plastic leaking plumbing pipe under the sink. Have fixed metal, hard plastic and ceramic.
I used it for repairing favourite toys that would otherwise go in the bin.
Anyone else used it with success?

Would it work on a freezer drawer? So, an icy non-dry type of environment?

I’ve got some in a drawer I’ve bever opened...

I used to live on a boat and two part epoxy was invaluable.
If you like this sort of think, also try Captain Tollys Creeping Crack Cure - its magical (not raunchy).

WellThisIsShit Yes I'm sure it would work. You might have to redo now and again if you keep having to pull at the drawer. Take the drawer out and have it dry before application

I only know what it because we used to have travertine tiles that needed repairing. If it wasn’t for that I would have no clue. Is it not quite toxic?

Filler. Was finding a vacuum repair hard to imagine. Next time in Robert days shall check it out. Love repair products - this sounds great.

Miliput can be used to repair boats, so I'm sure it'll work on your freezer drawer. You can sand it, paint it, drill it. I repaired a notch cut out of the front edge of a window ledge with it and patched in a gap in a skirting board, matching up the pattern. I love it.

sheep that Captain tollys look amazing. Thanks for that.
nigel the epoxy resin (glue) does have a strong smell so probably is quite toxic but the putty can also be bought without a mixer and that can be mixed in your hands so not a strong smell.

My dad fixed everything with either Araldite or blue-tac, but didn't seem to have a system for what he used when something was broken.
The parcel shelf on his car had big lumps of blue-tac, holding the sides together, and araldite was used on the breadbin.
I love the smell, it takes me right back to the kitchen of my childhood.

Ooh, I haven't used epoxy resin since childhood.

I'm currently considering self-bonding tape for a tricky pipe repair, though. No experience with it, but this stuff looks MAGIC.

FlibbertyGiblets It sets hard and can be sanded, drilled and painted over. I think sugru is flexible and rubbery when set. But it's a handy thing too.
