It really isn’t ! A colleague and me watched her videos and tried some of the products she recommended and both of us felt ill for ages afterwards after using one particular product . There is no way she needs to use all those products really must be quite toxic to have them sprayed etc on a daily basis .

She's weird.
I have a cleaner and she can't stand her.

The amount of Zoflora she's got in that cupboard under the sink is absolutely ridiculous.
There must be close to 50 bottles there, no exaggeration.

I recently used Zooflora and it gave me a migraine. The smell in my house was of chemicals. Not of summer breeze.
I do find her videos quite amusing but her house. Must be incredibly over powering

And she's pregnant how's she going to cope with toddler mess? And why is everything grey?!

Definitely not the best for a pregnant woman to inhale so many chemicals, also the amount of chemicals she mixes together is shocking and not safe.

I recently read that using chemical cleaning products is as bad as smoking a pack of cigs! Not sure if it’s true but it did make me stop and think about what I’m using! I also thought of the mess kids bring! Will be a bit of a shock I thinkGrin

I agree. I read an article in the guardian recently attributing the rise of allergies to being over clean. Almost like the immune system needs to find something to do and over reacts to harmless substances. We all need germs and dirt to a degree. Hot soapy water is all you need for cleaning the vast majority of times

I don’t understand the appeal. She uses endless products - such a waste! - her grid is all grey and she spends her time seemingly cleaning things that are already clean.

There are so many rumblings about her sudden rise to fame as well

I think Mrs Hinch is great. She gets me motivated to clean and that's saying something! Smile
I don't get the moans towards her decor I see on here either. Yeah, it's grey, I'd find it a bit cold but each to their own.
People can follow her without going mad on loads of chemicals. I know I do.

Fair point @glimmerstick my query over the grey decor is not that I don’t like
It but im surprised a grid like that which is just grey got so many followers so quickly when there are so many other moe visually appealing home accounts. Guess it’s just right place right time, offering something a bit different through her stories

YANBU, I've only briefly followed her and promptly unfollowed for this reason. We switched to ecover and the like, chemical-free and no longer have streaming eyes and itchy skin just from wiping the kitchen down or washing clothes. The only chemical in our house is bleach for the loo and shower. It's more expensive stuff but just as good and better for the planet. If you have a house full of sensitive eyes and skin like ours it's a godsend

On the Zoflora website there is a link to their safety data sheet for their concentrated disinfectant which lists the following hazard statement.
H361f 'suspected of damaging fertility' (hazard code repro tox 2) is present in both twilight garden and springtime

They are all full of loads of different chemicals and there's a long list of risks associated with the different chemicals they use in their various editions/scents.

H290 May be corrosive to metals
H225 Highly flammable liquid and vapour
H301 Toxic if swallowed
H302 Harmful if swallowed
H304 May be fatal if swallowed and enters airways H311 Toxic in contact with skin
H312 Harmful in contact with skin
H314 Causes severe skin burns and eye damage H315 Causes skin irritation
H317 May cause an allergic skin reaction
H318 Causes serious eye damage
H319 Causes serious eye irritation
H331 Toxic if inhaled
H361f Suspected of damaging fertility
H370 Causes damage to organs
H400 Very toxic to aquatic life
H410 Very toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects H411 Toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects H412 Harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects.

Im not a scientist / don't know how likely those risks are but I wouldn't be chucking zoflora around willy nilly in my house and leaving my cloths/sponges to bath in it with boiling hot water over night or running a steamy hot bath with zoflora in to soak clean my bath..

@mmmgoats tbh I don't look at her grid much unless she's put a new pic up and it shows up on my feed (follow all sorts of stuff on IG and they don't always show - algorithms and all that) so don't see to much grey pics. I'm there for watching the stories (videos) and I think that's where a lot of people are too. Not for the Insta picture squares.

And not funny... very boring now

See - not funny? That's a matter of opinion. She cheers me up and makes me laugh. As I said upthread, each to their own.

I've never seen her clean anything that is actually dirty.
When I've finished cleaning my house? I'm a hot sweaty mess and I need to jump straight in my sparkly clean shower.
But she cleans with her full make up / hair done and nail extensions and there isn't a bead of sweat on her.
If she offered realistic cleaning tips then I'd listen to her. But she just shined a sink that was so shiny earlier it could work as a mirror. I was like wtf??!
Also she is so flippantly wasteful it's dangerous with absolutely no consideration to our fragile planet

I love Lynsey too.
she’s been around a while and really knows her stuff - I love that she pushes white wine vinegar and lemon as a cleaning supply and shows you proper before and afters
