Ok so not me, a friend. I know MN have got this.

A sheep. Real life actual sheep. Well a lamb really. But alive.

Need an ace way to surprise Someone with it... wrapping is gonna prove a little tricky.

Before anyone goes bat shit, they live in a farm, lots of animals already, this is going to be a pet. A very cute well looked after not for breeding or eating type pet.

Any amazing ideas?

Do it like a treasure hunt with clues leading to lamb with a bow round it’s neck.

I really hope this is my present Grin

What a odd ( in a good way ) prezzie !

How about a very large gift bag cut and shaped into a 'coat' for it to wear ?
You would only be able to put it on the lamb seconds before you are due to give it to them as its likely to chew / wreck it. It may be a idea to do a few trial runs first so the poor thing doesn't freak out

Am laughing to myself at the thought of mate trying to fashion a coat for a lamb out of bags then get it to stand still long enough to wear it Xmas Grin

Use glue. Lots of glue.

Fuck it, glitter glue. It is Christmas after all.

I’m not usually a pearl clutcher but please don’t put anything on it! Treasure hunt is a great idea!

Could you wrap a little soft toy lamb and put a note on it saying p.s look outside.... then have your real lamb out there with a bow on Xmas Smile

Place it in a nativity scene.

Balance a Santa's hat on sheep for the few seconds it takes for a photo. Print photo and put in frame. Wrap framed photo.

What about that spray farmers use to identify their flocks? Could you get a red and green one and squirt a vague tartan/Holly/festive pattern on it? I'm guessing that it's animal friendly and will wear off eventually... If not please just ignore me!

If a cat can be wrapped, then you can surely wrap a sheep! Grin

That wrapped cat is funny. It really is a very chilled out individual!

I love the nativity idea

Can you put the sheep on the other side of a doorway, and then fill it with a big sheet of wrapping paper they can burst through?

Report
HildaZelda · 09/12/2018 22:51

@Beamur, I'd be clawed to death if I tried it with mine.

That cat video is hilarious!!! 250k views though???
Move got 2 cats and van guarantee I’d lose a finger and an eye as a minimum should I even attempt to wrap them up 😂

Oh my goodness! That wrapped cat is brilliant! If loose a finger if I tried that with either of mine! I think a treasure hunt is the best idea. My friend has 2 sheep and they tend to nibble things. A lot.

I'd be tempted to put it in a dog crate /cat carrier and wrap that about two mins before it's due to be opened (and punch air holes!)

I'm placemarking so I can show my child the cat getting wrapped up.
I also vote for the nativity idea Grin

Paint a large cardboard box in festive pattern and cut some holes in it. Some straw in the bottom and a bow should work for few min. Lovely present.Smile
