To ask for random acts of kindness that you've carried out...

I believe that kindness breeds kindness. I often carry out random acts of kindness, because:

1. If I'm able to, why wouldn't I?
2. The world would be a nicer place if we all helped others out more often.
3. It makes me feel good to make a positive impact on someone's life.

Most I go about and do quietly, genuinely not helping people for recognition or glory, but when I have shared one or two examples with friends, they've said I've inspired them.

If I take the bus to town then I buy a day pass, you can use it on any of the buses from that company right up until midnight. When I get off the bus home and won't be using it again that day, I tuck the ticket into the corner of the timetable at the bus stop so that someone who comes to the stop after me can benefit from a free ride.

Our local pay and display still uses stickers. I never use my hour so I drive past the machine and stick my sticker to the front of it so someone else can use it.

I often give people at the supermarket any money off a shop vouchers i have spare, it is lovley to see someone 's face when you give them £10 off their shop or similar. Why not?

I paid for a mum's petrol as she had a screaming toddler and had left her card at home -she begged for my address and I said just pay it forward when you can.

A young lad who was doing some chores from me to earn money to pay for something for his mum for Christmas -dropped and smashed his phone accidentally he was 17 and it took all his composure not to start crying. I took it and replaced the screen and paid him. Again I asked him to paid it forward when he was my age.

Little things -it's not a big deal. I always wonder if it was my child or me -would I like someone to do the same for me.

I always give my no 7 boot voucher to whoever is browsing the no 7 stuff. I don't use their makeup but others do

Picked up a guide dog's poo - owner was on knees with a poo bag ... everyone was walking past...
I despair of the human race.

I was in the British Museum once and an Asian man wanted to buy some postcards but didn't have enough change so I gave him some. He was so thrilled he was with a group of people from Korea who chatted to me and my kids and gave us some Korean gum!

I told the girl at the till she'd undercharged me.

Walking down the street I saw someone had left their keys in the keyhole on their front door. I knocked on the door and told the lady. She was ever so grateful.

Not really an act of kindness but I was going somewhere the other night and accidently drove down a road that was closed in our town because I never pay attention to what's going on where we live, and an old man, perhaps in his 80' s had fallen up a set of step and was lying flat on his face while his poor wife was tried to get him up with no succes. I stopped and helped him up and drove them home and took them to the house.
Turns out I was an hour early for the thing I was supposed to be doing, thank God I was because no one lives on that street anymore it's being demolished and from the main road you can't see the stairs they were climbing, I'm so glad I was early and went the wrong way.

I saw an elderly lady obviously lost at the hospital and took her to her appointment at the other end of the building. She had a suitcase with her and clearly didn’t belong in pharmacy but everyone was ignoring her.

@HowlsMovingBungalow Bless you. I once went to London for a job interview, in rush hour. As I stepped off the train, I saw a blind man with a guide dog stood still getting brushed past the mad crowd.

Even though I was in a rush, I couldn't not ask if he needed help. So I spoke to him and asked if I could do anything to assist

He'd apparently booked for assistance from rail staff as he didn't like relying on this guide dog in rush hour, as it was easy for the dog to get hurt.

Anyway, the assistance hadn't arrived, so I offered to help and he took my elbow and I walked him and his dog out of the station to the taxi rank.

I never use nectar card or any other store points cards. Comes from working at head office of a major supermarket chain (I don’t want my data being analysed) plus I can’t face sorting all the offers.

I always ask the person behind me if they want my points - sometimes it’s a lot and also I quite like messing up the system by having points for nappies or whatever on an OAPs account. #stickittotheman

@sonlypuppyfat We went on a Thanks cruise one NYE, in London. We ended up on a table with an American couple. At the time the dollar was really weak against the pound and they were talking about how much they loved the UK, but couldn't get over the cost of things.

Just before midnight, we bought tjem drinks and a bottle of champagne to share it with them on the hour, they said it was the kindest gesture and they'd be sure to tell everyone back home how lovely "Us English" were.

Nice to do your bit for foreign relations eh?

@IchWill Yes the same guy got on my train regularly and people wouldn't allow him and his dog to board first, a few of us commuters would help him navigate him to the open door of the train so his dog could lead him onto the train.

I don't even see it as kindness, just being a human isn't it, not to want to see someone struggling.

Forwarded a cheque on to the person who used to live at my house now that was just under £4000 they had no idea they'd be sent it,
I found a brand new iPhone 6 when they came out and handed it in

I was on a High Street and saw an elderly lady up ahead of me tip over in her mobility scooter, into the road.

Nobody near her helped, just stared!!! I had heels on but ran up the street to help her up off the road, only when I started helping did others join in.
