And invite you to join me?
What are you brilliant at, nothing is too trivial.
What can you do exceptionally well?

I make very good gravy! Don't know why because my cooking isn't good but my gravy and sauces always come out well Confused

I am really good at finding things. (Not in a dowsing rod kind of way: I have to have had the opportunity to see the item around previously.)

And at understanding people when they are being rubbish at saying what they mean.

MsSquiz · 14/11/2018 16:12

I make amazing roast potatoes, to the point where, whenever we go to MIL's for Sunday lunch, she asks me to make roasties and take them round. And this Christmas we are off to SIL's for lunch and MIL volunteered me to make and take roasties Smile

ThisIsNotARealAvo · 14/11/2018 16:13

I'm really good at quickly learning song lyrics.

Zoflorabore · 14/11/2018 16:14

I have a photographic memory, comes in handy Grin

Glumglowworm · 14/11/2018 16:14

I make great sweet shortcrust pastry (despite having very warm hands!)

TheQueef · 14/11/2018 16:16

I'd love to be able to make pastry.
I wanted to set up a Cheese Pie Appreciation group but I get mocked for my shop bought so stuff it Grin

I am a brilliant sleeper. I takes me a while to fall asleep but once I am asleep that’s it. Could sleep through the apocalypse.

junebirthdaygirl · 14/11/2018 16:21

I never forget a face. Even 20 years later. Can be a good thing or sometimes very awkward. I also straight away remember every detail about the person which l have to be careful about as look like a stalker.
So a great memory!!

Balaboosteh · 14/11/2018 16:23

I’m really really good at finding my way and not getting lost. I get the map of a city very quickly printed into my brain and nearly always know which way round I am - back to the sea / facing the river etc

Poledra · 14/11/2018 16:23

I am a proof-reading virtuoso. I can spot a spelling mistake, a font change or missing punctuation, even in the footnotes.

Disclaimer: I do not proof-read my posts on internet chat boards.

Cineraria · 14/11/2018 16:25

I'm good at getting knots out of necklaces/string/yarn/hair etc.

Perhaps less usefully, I also learn to read easily, so if I'm somewhere on holiday and they have a different sound based script, I can usually pick it up off dual language signs/menus etc after a few days without really studying it.

GottaGoGottaGo · 14/11/2018 16:25

I can whistle REALLY loudly!!! Grin

LimitIsUp · 14/11/2018 16:26

I am pretty sharp at problem solving.

lessthanBeau · 14/11/2018 16:37

I am great at finding vouchers and discounts for days out.Never paid full price for any attractions. even a pound off entry has me rubbing my hands with glee. Grin even did Disney world for free due to ds being a cast member at the time.

TheQueef · 14/11/2018 16:37

My best pal is a super recogniser.
She can spot someone across the dance floor in a dimly lit club, give me a nudge and tell me how we knocked about with them for two weeks in 1980 and all the details of their life.

It's odd how much detail she stores alongside the face.
She's never been wrong though!

I'm really good at matching colours so I get asked for advice when people are painting or putting an outfit together.

Loyaultemelie · 14/11/2018 16:47

I am very good at not backing down from conflict. Until the last year or so I wasn't aware this was something to be good at until my Dh (well he doesn't count really he has 10 years of form for this), DM, Dsis, and 3 friends have all got me to sort out situations for them that required someone to stand up for themselves and not back down or be intimidated.

I also make good cake Cake

junebirthdaygirl · 18/11/2018 08:50

Queef thats exactly what l do but its actually a bit annoying. I have to be careful not to give myself away as someone doesn't recognise me and in my head l know their life story but have to pretend.
I went to a support group once where l recognised every person in thr room due to brief meetings over the years eg worked in local shop in 1982!! I had to act like everlyone was a stranger as no names used. Terrified l would give something away.

Bambamber · 18/11/2018 08:55

I can do the splits all 3 ways and I am pretty good at hula hooping

Ronnyhotdog · 18/11/2018 08:56

I’m really good at day dreaming, can spend a good couple of hours just sitting, staring.

Chocolatecake12 · 18/11/2018 08:59

I make great cake and this week made millionaires shortbread for the first time which was super delicious.

lborgia · 18/11/2018 09:01

I'm really good at spotting actors in films and tv, from before they were famous. Eg, Clint Eastwood as a teenager in a black and white movie as a bell hop, Nicolas Cage as a cook in blues brothers (but listed as Nicolas Coppola). It used to drive me potty, but now I can just Google!

Um, what is the third way to do the splits??

1st. Left leg in front
2nd. Right leg in front
3rd. Left - to the left and right - to the right
GrinGrinGrin

I bet it's something different.
