He looks wrecked!

Why do men always push prams with one hand?

ihatethecold · 21/10/2018 09:18

Love it

TheShrieksShallInheritTheDeath · 21/10/2018 09:19

Meh. He looks like a tired 50 year old man. Which is exactly what he was in that photo.

DoubleHelix79 · 21/10/2018 09:19

I'm so glad it's not just me!

InstagramPork · 21/10/2018 09:19

Haha bless him! That’s the face of a parent with a newborn 😂
I wonder how knackered and bedraggled his wife must look?

Fairylea · 21/10/2018 09:23

I love this photo and actually sent the link to my dh and we laughed about it. What parent doesn’t feel like this 6 weeks in ? It’s that “what the fuck have I done” face!

phoebemac · 21/10/2018 09:23

Poor Daniel looks very disheveled. I think his roots need touching up too. It's nice somehow to see him looking so unpolished and human.

TinyBarista · 21/10/2018 09:27

Yippeee, he is human afterall! Makes me like him more, TBH.
(Although as a sidenote, the presumed intended ''public shaming' in the media of people looking less than perfect has to stop.)

LindsayIt · 21/10/2018 09:28

Made me laugh too.

TinyBarista · 21/10/2018 09:29

Just reread my post and it's not meant to come off snarky to the OP! Genuinely meant the media in general.

SoupDragon · 21/10/2018 09:31

Why do men always push prams with one hand?

I think it's because their legs are too long to walk comfortably behind the pram if it's pushed with two. I used to find this. It was more comfortable to push it with one hand as it gave more leg room slightly off to the side. Not a problem with an adjustable handle though.

IfyouseeRitaMoreno · 21/10/2018 09:34

Makes me like him more.

MrBull · 21/10/2018 09:37

Haha! Yes I know that look. It's the "have kids, they said. It'll be fun, they said" face.

UpstartCrow · 21/10/2018 09:46

Why do men always push prams with one hand?
Those funky curved handles are too narrow if you have wide shoulders.

Juells · 21/10/2018 09:51

Why do men always push prams with one hand?

The same reason they have to be running when out with a pushchair. It would never do if they walked along with both hands on. That would be un-manly 😅

SeaEagleFeather · 21/10/2018 09:53

awww this is so cute! so very human. Makes me like him more too.

Mary1935 · 21/10/2018 10:00

Men push prams with one hand because they drive with one hand!!!
He looks shattered - he’s human after all. 😁

sparklepops123 · 21/10/2018 10:03

I saw this pic this morning and found it hilarious, welcome to parenting Daniel !

FekkoTheLawyer · 21/10/2018 10:06

Hahahahaha! Next time DH says 'I'm his age and he could pass for my son!' I shall wheel out that photo (no make up, no lighting, no photoshop, no body double...)

He looks shattered - like a dad of a baby really.

Momo27 · 21/10/2018 10:10

If I had a newborn at his age I’d look pretty damn awful. Good luck to him but it’s insanity!

AnchorDownDeepBreath · 21/10/2018 10:11

Is he not looking older on purpose to get into character for the second Girl with a Dragon Tattoo?

I have zero idea if that's true or just a rumour to make him feel a bit better!

BikeRunSki · 21/10/2018 10:12

Would you laugh at at other parent of a newborn?

I think most hands-on parents with a newborn at his age would look pretty dishevelled. Quite a lot of new parents half his age also look pretty dishevelled. No doubt, he'll be back to his usual fit self for his next project :) Good luck to him.

SleepySofa · 21/10/2018 10:22

I’m a woman and I often pushed with one hand because it meant the other hand was free to do other things.

Avegemitesandwich · 21/10/2018 10:24

So many memes to be made from that photo on the right!
