that comes to less than 116? (2 adults; 1 child)
On the 21st August (Tuesday)?

All I'm finding are crazy prices but I've never booked a theater ticket in my life before so maybe I'm missing a trick.....?

I think, to get them at that price, you might need to go to the TKTS booth (Leicester Sq) on the morning of the show and hope for the best. Unless they’ve got a way of doing it online now.

I think it’s impossible actually. School of Rock you could get for that price though?

Is school of Rock the Meatloaf one?

Unless you try your luck on the day you’ve left it a bit late. I can get it to £110 for Wicked for 3 seats in the dress circle on the Kidsweek promotion but the cheaper seats have sold out.

Booking direct with the theatre therecare seats right at the very back available for a total of £102.75

I bought our Jamie & Dreamgirls Tickets in June.

Bat out of Hell is the Meatloaf one. School of Rock is the LLOYD Webber show based on a film with kids in.

You should be able to pick up Wicked (Lion King maybe) via Kids Week //www.kidsweek.co.uk - one kid goes free for each paying adult so that might help!

What is the dress circle? Confused

The first balcony. (Think there is only one balcony at the Apollo Victoria)

Wicked also does cheap day seats if you can queue up early but am not sure how many per customer. Their website should say I think.

We always buy our tickets from Leicester Square on the morning of the show and it’s always been fine. Saw Wicked and Bat Out of Hell last year, there were tickets for both the shows you want available when we last went in July. Around £30 a seat.

Day seats are two per person. First come first served.

Here's the day seats info
www.wickedthemusical.co.uk/london/tickets/day-seats-concessions
You should be okay to get them if you arrive early to queue (the box office should be able to advise what time the queue normally starts) . It's only 2 tickets per person, so you'll need each adult to to a separate transaction and hope they have seats together to allocate to you (or one okay to sit apart). Hope that helps!

We sat fairly far back for Wicked which was fine. Friends sat at the back for Lion King and wished they hadn’t bothered as there’s so much worth seeing up close they felt it was wasted money on the cheap seats.

The Lion King box office told me they do the cheapest tickets available although I don’t know how much truth there is in that. The direct prices for the 21st are outrageous.

It’s the front Row for Dayseats (24 in total)

Christ, how far back are we I wonder? I'd rather have my eyes gouged to be honest than sit through a musical but needs must. DNeice on the other hand really wanted to see either The Lion King or Wicked.

That’s ok. 31-35 are behind the stairwell wall so you have to lean over but higher numbers will be fine.

whatyadoing · 11/08/2018 23:27

Ok, thanks. Are we at the back of the theater? Will she be able to see anything?

Thanks all. It's a surprise now as I told her I couldn't afford the tickets. Tomorrow evening. I'm shattered after today. Nike, Superdry and Pull & Bear made a killing....
