Our 1st night on holiday, staying in a caravan, this will be our 3rd yr here, so last night we put the kids to bed about 10 then went ourselves thinking we could get a full night sleep before our busy day today, but about 1.40 we heard loud talking and music, i looked out the window and it was a young couple in a caravan just at the back of us. This went on for another hr and a half, my husband ended up shouting out the window saying can you be quiet, the man said sorry and went in but the woman was mouthy and argued with her partner. Now were awake with the kids i feel like banging on there door and waking them up. How bloody inconsiderate. Just need to have a rant and i have a headache 😖

Managed site? Go and complain as soon as the shop/office is open. There may be others already making a complaint. Family caravan sites are often pretty strict in such behaviour.

Have a word with the site manager - 01:40 is not a reasonable time for music and loud conversation on a caravan site. Most sites expect quiet after 11.

Hope your headache clears up and you can enjoy your day - have an al-fresco breakfast; that always brightens me up when I'm in a caravan!

There’s usually a phone number for site security somewhere in the paperwork. Give them a call if it happens again.

Yes thankyou, as soon as we are dressed we are heading there. Just typical that we wanted a full nights sleep, it best not happen again tonight.

looneytune253 yes i was looking through it last night and also googled a number but couldn't find anything. As we have hired the same caravan before my husband is also going to message the owner and ask.

send the kids over to scream and run about - you know, to get it out of their systems.

We once were camping. And the tent opposite ours spent the whole night talking around a fire. Whilst telling his dog to lay down constantly!
Worst night ever!

unleash the kids!!

Get them to play noisy hide n seek.

And the tonight throw bread on the caravans roof so that your neighbours are awakened by arsed seagulls fighting early in the morning.

Security? You're husband has already shouted at them and they shut up. They're probably excited at being on holiday and got carried away. If they do the same tonight, maybe think about grassing them up. I'm guessing your kids will be well behaved first thing in the morning while they and everyone else is trying to get some sleep.

Get the kids to go play the loudest game you can think of😀

Why would you encourage the op to get her kids to wake everyone within earshot, who have already been kept awake last night as well? I’m assuming you are not the only two caravans in a field.

We have the security's number now! And the owners of our caravan noes the owners of the other caravan so she said she is going to send them a msg. Fingers crossed it won't happen again. But if it does ill be tapping on there windows when my kids wake up and doing the bread trick, thanks all.

yelling at 2 in the morning is selfish and entitled. op has paid for her trip and should be able to sleep.

as this is real life, not the playground, 'dont sneak' does not apply. why have another wrecked night?

specialsubject i no some people are so selfish, i always make sure we are all quiet if we are up early or coming home late from the club. Wish everyone would show the same respect.
The thing that gets me the most is they have 2 young children aswel so god noes what they were doing at that time in the morning, with music booming and there parents shouting.

You should send the kids over every morning at the crack of dawn to make a racket outside their caravan.
