Mature escort

Just after people's opinions on how they'd feel living opposite a very busy adult escort. Living in a quiet cul de sac but our house is the only one that would directly be able to see what's going on (worked it out when off on maternity leave before baby was here, lots of time on my hands!)

If it was happening behind closed doors that's her own business imo.

Is it impacting on your life as in, noise, traffic, crime around your property?
If not, I would let them be.
If yes, I would call council or non emergency police to ask about what can be done.

Well how do you feel about it? It doesn't matter how we would feel as it's you that has to see it.

What makes you think there's an escort living and working in your street and not something else?

When you say "see what's going on" how much exactly would you be seeing? The escort welcoming people into the house? Beyond that?

Hmmm

I'm not entirely sure how I feel about it to be honest that's why I didn't mention it.

I agree that she is behind closed doors in her own home etc, it just doesn't sit comfortably with me for some reason.

If its not causing any problems I wouldn't be fussed tbh. Her home, her choice. How did you come to the escort conclusion tho? Can you see her greet them, is she scantily clad? Is it only ever shifty, furtive men/where do they park? If she's that busy it must be all night too and other neighbours might know?

She's definitely an escort, she has a website that was extremely easy to find when I had suspicions!

They might know but it's doubtful due to tree positioning and working away etc. She does greet them dressed in her finery, and I've noticed a few of the men leave whilst still butting up their jeans. We have a visitor space in the cul de sac and they often park in that

It depends if it actually affects your life.

ThatGirl82 · 15/07/2018 10:45

The men seriously walk out still doing up their trousers? Really?

It wouldn’t bother me if there was no noise disturbance or anti social behaviour from any of the visitors.

I think this would bother me tbh, especially as it’s in a quiet cul-de-sac and directly opposite you. Is it even legal - I don’t know? You do have the right to live your life without this kind of thing in your face. I think I’d report it and see what the police can do?
How did you find her website though?

She wouldn’t bother me. Some of her customers might.

Lymphy · 15/07/2018 10:54

If there is anti social behaviour alongside then I'd be bothered otherwise it wouldn't bother me. Its not illegal to sell sex from your own home if its just her (I only learnt thus last month from a police officer working with sex workers and vulnerable people) which I didn't know, so not much you could do x

Report
ReHorsing · 15/07/2018 10:55

Wouldn't bother me at all. I view sex work as legitimate, valid work.

Report
Branleuse · 15/07/2018 10:58

Id put a note through the door asking if she could be more discreet and for her customers to be discreet

Report
jazzyfizzles · 15/07/2018 11:00

Yeah she doesn't bother me at all, she doesn't know we know, but I just worry that as my daughter gets older and she'll be wanting to play out/whatever...and theirs men walking round doing their pants up

What does her age have to do with anything?

bsbabas · 15/07/2018 11:02

Stop curtain twitching and find something else to do! You just decided to clutch your pearls and get offended. Leave her alone and concentrate on somebody else breaking the law.

rosesandflowers1 · 15/07/2018 11:03

Unless there's some kind of disturbance, I wouldn't be bothered at all.

c3pu · 15/07/2018 11:05

Put up some obvious CCTV cameras on the front of your house. Even if there's no chance of the punters being caught on camera, the very thought of it might put some off!

AnyFucker · 15/07/2018 11:05

Doing their pants up ? Give over.

Is there some significance in describing her as "mature" ?

What has the mature bit, got to do with it?

Report
jazzyfizzles · 15/07/2018 11:08

Hahaha give over. I don't have to curtain twitch it is obvious, and her age has nothing to do with it, just thought it formed a better title.
I was signed off work Ill during my pregnancy so wasn't able to do much other than rest in my home where I see her house as it's directly opposite
