There's some really funny people on here and some stuff has me smiling for days. One I read recently was about the names small children called their parents instead of Mummy and Daddy. One poster wrote that her DC called her DH "Daddy" and called her "Not Daddy" - still makes me smile.

Ages ago, someone posted about her childs imaginary friends. Eventually they found out they had mice and the DD was sitting on the floor talking to them and feeding them Grin

Oh this is hard as there have been so many!

I remember one years ago where a woman had tried a natural method for getting rid of thread worms which involved sticking a clove of garlic up her bum. Unfortunately when she went to the toilet at work she had made an atrocious stink and was now embarrassed about what her colleagues would think. Don't know if that is in Classics.

There are some incredibly funny people here, especially those who just throw in a one-liner.

The very first thread I read was included a post where an MNer claimed she "sometimes curls one out into the bin rather than leave a risotto"

Think the discussion was about abandoning the cooking of a risotto - a middle class dilemma if there ever was one.

As a refugee from Babycentre (remember that!) it was a total eyeopener...and every time I make a risotto I remember those words - wipes eyes fondly

For me the funniest thing I read on here was the woman attempting to wax her lady garden. It was years ago, not sure if the threads still around (before classics I think)

I rally enjoyed the thread ages ago where the OP was absolutely adamant that her son should be allowed to take a supersoaker to a party in the park, even though eleventy billion posters were telling her it sounded like a terrible plan.

Not practising what I preach here, but links to these funny threads would be brilliant if possible. Had a row with DH just now and could do with a laugh.

That snapped and farted thread a couple of weeks ago, only thread I've ever cried laughing at.

I think the snapped and farted thing. I was actually crying with laughter reading some of those replies. I can't remember the actual name of the thread though!

I remember the one with the woman who was heavily pregnant and went swimming with her husband and small child. She was merrily blowing up an inflatable by the side of the pool when her husband spotted she had forgotten to put on her bikini bottoms. She said he was so shocked he just shouted "OP. Your minge!!"

The woman stuck sat on her worktop after getting some medicine down that was up high and asking if her dp was Unreasonable for not coming home to reach them down

The Easter bonnet one - I think it's in classics.

It has to be 'I snapped and farted' for me too. I couldn't stop laughing all through that thread every time someone mentioned it. Even typing it now made me giggle.

I love it when I check back and there have been lots of replies. Going to seek some of these threads out - I especially like the sound of the supersoaker one!

One of my favourites in Classics was the OP who made an Easter Bonnet for her child to wear to school. The bonnet was terrifying, consisting of baby chicks around the brim, eyeing a ferocious looking fox with huge teeth balancing on the crown but so funny. Grin

The poster whose predictive text told us she was so shocked she urinated on the chair.

Along time ago I read one where the OP rubbed dog shit on her neighbours DC's face. The OP had been cleaning up after her dog in rubber gloves, the child got a bug on her face and OP tried to swipe the bug off. I laughed so hard Smile

Snapped and farted thread! I cried with laughter!

Snapped and farted made me cry laugh too. It just kept getting funnier and funnier as OP just had no idea why anyone thought it was weird that she had insisted on mentioning this detail that had absolutely nothing to do with her AIBU 😂😂😂
