If you are approachine from A and want to go to second exit C. Which lane would you get into at A?

Right and then move to the left once past the first exit.

The left hand lane unless it told me to do otherwise? Am I missing something?

What Seeline says

I would say left because even though it's slightly off centre it's still straight over.

Right hand lane. I wouldn't count that as straight across, which would be the left hand lane

Unless marked otherwise it would be left lane for second exit on a 4 exit roundabout. Sometimes local convention overrides such rules though!

Without any road marking to indicate otherwise I would expect either lane of A to be able to exit at C.

I would expect the outside lane at A to go to the outside lane of C or D. The I side lane of A to take B or inside lane of C.

Either would be fine.

What Seeline said.

Unless there are any markings, I’d assume either lane is ok.

is it two lanes both sides? Then either but don't be buggering about swaggering all round the roundabout, stick to your lane all the way around and as you exit.

if it's 2 lanes (A) to one lane (C) then I'd probably favour the outside lane at A

As exit C is a dual carriageway then either lane. The left lane of A into the left lane of C, and the right lane of A into the right lane of C.

There appear to be two lanes on the exit, so it would be logical to either take the left hand lane on entry to the roundabout and exit on the left; or take the right hand lane and exit into the right hand lane.

Either is fine. What do you think?

It’s the right lane. You will be cutting people up from the first exit you pass, otherwise. It’s not a straight-on turn and you’d need to indicate right. If you say in the left lane indicating right, people would quite rightly think you’d cut them up.

Left lane to exit at left lane C or right lane to exit at right lane C unless there are road markings/signs to say otherwise

Report
overnightangel · 24/06/2018 17:20

Left.
Signalling to take B, not signalling for straight across to C , entering in C’s left lane

malmi · 24/06/2018 17:20

Struggle to believe there wouldn't be markings. If not then either lane and stay in lane

Report
MrsMollyMooMoo · 24/06/2018 17:20

Right lane

Report
TheQueef · 24/06/2018 17:21

Unless marked otherwise left lane.

ghostyslovesheets · 24/06/2018 17:22

left - it's straight over more or less - left straight over or left - right for 3 or 4th exit

Unless marked it’s either lane for junction 2, anything further round right lane.

I'm with Original Username on C choices.

Stick to the lane that'll be your end result!! Left for B, dependent with C and right for D.

It isn't a right turn it's second exit.
