Dear Mr FDN,

You come home on a Friday and I never know what to expect.

Some days it’s fine and you are lovely. I pretend it’s me that is the issue. I need to cook more, clean more, love you more, understand you more.

Other days you belittle me, threaten to hurt my kids, say horrid things about my kids, about me, push me through a shop window, try to strangle me, through things at me, destroy things I have made, humiliate me pull my hair, call me names, bring up anything I have confided in you to use against me, threaten to hurt my parents.

And then blame me.

You are an abusive cunt.

You do not deserve my love.

I need to leave you before you kill me.

@LadyFridayNight

I am so sorry, this sounds really terrible.

He is abusing you, endangering you and endangering your children.

Please contact Women's Aid.

I'm so sorry OP that you are going through this.
You know what you need to do just be careful on the planning, timing and communication. You need to protect yourself and your kids and avoid anything that could cause any kind of conflict.
You don't deserve this, nobody does and you need to know it's truly not your fault, you see it's not you, it's him and that will never change.

TanteRose · 22/06/2018 02:58

its not you, its not you, its not you...

seriously, you are NOT the problem here.
Please try and make arrangements to leave - it might take quite a while, and as PP said, you do need to be careful. Women are at high risk of getting hurt and worse when they finally decide to leave a serious abuser like your partner.
And make no mistake, he is a serious abuser Sad

sending you strength Flowers

Just echoing other posters OP, please reach out and get help from WA to make a safe plan to leave, I'm really scared for you. Be careful online too if there's any chance he has access to your device, use private browsing or delete your history. Please get some support in place though, you don't have to do this alone and you certainly don't have to carry on living like this Flowers

Dear LadyFridayNight

Please leave. Please find a way. Contact Womens Aid or a friend. Even an old friend who never liked him. Or a family member who told you he wasnt a good bet. Is there anyone?

You have recognised you need to leave which is the first step. Flowers

I strongly recommend asking for this to be moved to relationships. You will get good advice from several posters there, as well as support about how get your ducks in a row and to leave mr. Friday night safely.

TanteRose · 22/06/2018 07:08

trojan good call, have asked for it to be moved.

LadyFridayNight · 22/06/2018 19:51

He came back Sad

He smashed up the house last night.

Drew all over pictures and photos on the walls.

Ripped up his kids books.

Ripped up my kids birth certificates.

But he’s back.
