I ordered a dress from a website called HEBEOS.CO.UK. The dress cost £100 plus £20 p&p ( hmm) which I assumed was because it is an evening dress.
When the dress arrived it looked absolutely nothing like the picture online. It's ugly, badly sewn and there are bits of stitching coming away. It is not fit for purpose and horrible. Even the colour is different.
Stupid me - I did not realise they are based in China and there is no name , no phone number / address so no way of speaking to anyone about this. I have emailed the company about 10 times but they refuse to engage with me, except to offer me a 15% refund. I have explained this is unacceptable and I have also alerted my credit card company.
If I could do links to websites I would show you the photos I have taken of it so you can see for yourself how vastly different it is from the web pics. I am kicking myself.
AIBU to hope my credit card provider can get me my hard earned money back? or is it a lost cause ?
