Thrilling subject coming up.

Me and Dp have just had a little bicker about this and he said I should post it on here because he knows everyone will agree with him. I think I am right so we shall see.

I leave my razor on the side of the bath after my shower (it used to be on one of those sucky shower tidies but it fell off). When I bath Dd I move the razor and put it in the bathroom cabinet so she can't touch it.

Dp is forever moaning about it because he doesn't see why he should have to move it when he does bath time and is worried Dd will cut herself. I think he should just move it every time he baths her.

We both think the other person is lazy.

I'm not even sure that makes sense reading back. It's been a long day.

You're in the wrong. Put it away, keep your child safe.

I would put it in your bathroom cupboard if you have one.

It’s your razor so you should move it out of reach.

I think you should put it away after use. What is your kid goes into the bathroom during the day?

just put it in thecabinet when you are finished, why even bother putting it down to pick it up again later?? Basic time and motion!

if i were your dh I'd theow it in the bin every time I found it.

Sorry, but you're U. Why should someone else have to tidy up your stuff?

Also, not sure how old your DD is, but what if she sneaks in on her own, not great!

I would not leave a razor on the side of a bath at child reach height.

I'd keep it out of reach when I wasn't using it. So, I agree with your dp.

Sorry YABU ,OP. When you've finished with it, put it out of reach.

The bathroom door is kept shut so she can't get in there. Even if she gets in there it's on the furthest side of the bath and she can't reach it anyway. Also it has a cover on it.

But, kids get into everything. One day she will be able to open the door and she may climb in the bath and grab it and pull the cover off. Then you’ll feel like shit that she hurt herself.

Why risk it? Just put dangerous things away.

Keep the razor in the cupboard and not on the side of the bath

I think the razor should be put away in your bathroom cabinet after use.
