It's tipped to be the new prince's name. I know we're all supposed to love old men's names but Arthur is just too awful.

Come on Kate & Will - you know you want to call him Milo or Ryan. Just do it!

MrsJayy Tue 24-Apr-18 15:08:39

I think there is an approved list so Jack is out but I agree prince Arthur is terrible

CluedoAddict Tue 24-Apr-18 15:11:34

It always reminds me of On The Buses.

DGRossetti Tue 24-Apr-18 15:11:52

Princey McPrinceface ?

YoThePussy Tue 24-Apr-18 15:13:52

My money is on Donald and a certain president being thrilled to bits.

Hofty Tue 24-Apr-18 15:15:00

Albert?

Aprilmightbemynewname Tue 24-Apr-18 15:16:04

Rogers Nelson.

Allmyshilldren Tue 24-Apr-18 15:17:33

Better than Albert, to be fair.

whatshappening1 Tue 24-Apr-18 15:17:37

I think Arthur or Albert will be great names, not long to wait now though

Luckingfovely Tue 24-Apr-18 15:17:39

I'm amazed Albert is so hotly predicted.

Surely they can't call him Prince Albert??

HildaZelda Tue 24-Apr-18 15:17:41

Agree. Arthur is definitely an old mans name. James would be nice but I think Edward's son is already called that?

Shadow666 Tue 24-Apr-18 15:17:55

I like James, but James and George may be too similar.

Daffodildainty Tue 24-Apr-18 15:18:00

I likle Arthur. What about Jayden ?

Jaylabelle Tue 24-Apr-18 15:20:04

I think Arthur's a great name, and would go well with George and Charlotte.

Shadow666 Tue 24-Apr-18 15:20:30

I’m thinking Thomas or Richard or Gaylord.

MrsJayy Tue 24-Apr-18 15:21:32

I suggested Albert yesterday and somebody had to explain to me that it wasn't the best AND what a prince Albert was blush I have clearly led a sheltered life

MrsJayy Tue 24-Apr-18 15:23:14

Yes Edward and Sophie's son is James I wonder if they will go for Charles or Phillip ?

DGRossetti Tue 24-Apr-18 15:24:10

Why not Al fred ?

ILookedintheWater Tue 24-Apr-18 15:24:44

I love Arthur! One of the boys in our village is called Arthur and he's adorable.

papayasareyum Tue 24-Apr-18 15:25:34

It will be Louis, mark my words.

YoThePussy Tue 24-Apr-18 15:26:27

Yes Alfred, Prince Alfie would be great.

The80sweregreat Tue 24-Apr-18 15:27:04

Reminds me of 'MInder' - a very old drama / comedy series. the main guy was called Arthur Daley and was pronounced 'rthur' without an A!

LaurieMarlow Tue 24-Apr-18 15:27:11

I think it's going to be one of Arthur/Albert/Alfred. And I hate all of them.

Off to google what a Prince Albert is. blush

MrsJayy Tue 24-Apr-18 15:27:19

I think George has Louis in his name but I like it as a first name
