To think they shouldn’t flaunt their bifolds....

Neighbours over the back had their lovely bifolds open all day. Had a little BBQ, lounged about in their indoor/ outdoor space. Enjoyed themselves.

It’s not on is it?

JustMarriedBecca Sun 22-Apr-18 21:55:00

It wouldn't be here. We had on and off rain. Their floor would have got wet.

gamerchick Sun 22-Apr-18 21:57:31

Rained here as well. Lucky gits grin

TrudeauGirl Sun 22-Apr-18 21:59:29

I misread the title as billfolds and imagined all these smug rich fatcats in striped suits waving money around at you.

Pigleteer Sun 22-Apr-18 22:02:36

Their fancy new bifold extension might as well be waving money at me.....

Mumsnut Sun 22-Apr-18 22:03:25

Her floor will be filthy now

CanIBuffalo Sun 22-Apr-18 22:05:47

Unless they're £££ ones, they'll be sticking within 6 months.
You can grin smugly and proffer a can of wd40 over the fence.

Envy is such an ugly trait!

I know because it looks damn ugly on me! I sit outside my front door in lovely weather, that's as far as I go!

TokyoSushi Sun 22-Apr-18 22:13:55

We have bifolds, they are nice grin

Myimaginarycathasfleas Sun 22-Apr-18 22:15:49

Blatant exhibitionism, OP. You have to pity them, really.

givemesteel Sun 22-Apr-18 22:16:30

1. Their interior will now smell really smoky if they left them open whilst bbqing

2. They will now have a lot of wasps / flies / mosquitoes in their house

3. When it's hot outside its a school boy error to leave your windows open in the middle of the day, need them open whilst it's collected then shut them when it gets hot so they'll probably be finding it really difficult to sleep now.

Count yourself lucky you don't have bifold doors otherwise you'd have a whole host of first world problems to deal with (--although not having bifold foods is also arguably a first world problem... --)

Ach, come the zombie apocalypse they'll be easily chomped by the ravenous hordes of undead

DropItLikeASquat Sun 22-Apr-18 22:18:33

eug, I agree OP how dare they, the show -off Bifoding Bastards!

elfycat Sun 22-Apr-18 22:20:11

I had a BBQ yesterday & had my bifolds open.

I lit the woodburner in the living room later in the evening to keep off the chill for the later guests. Still kept the bifolds open.

I am going to have to sweep the floor, that's true. Serves me right grin

AnitaLovesVictor Sun 22-Apr-18 22:21:25

We've had the most beautiful day down in our little corner of the UK. Sunshine all day - we been mooching around the garden the whole time.

We don't have bifolds though, so I'm feeling a bit bereft now.

Goldmandra Sun 22-Apr-18 22:21:39

I got a quote on bifolds today shock

We'll be replacing the pane with the seal gone in the existing patio doors sad

grumpy4squash Sun 22-Apr-18 22:22:17

What's a bifold? Something that folds in half??? I literally have no idea what you're talking about.

Turquoisetamborine Sun 22-Apr-18 22:22:32

Picture me last summer in 33 degrees heat holding up my extremely heavy bifolds which had been houked off their runners by my DH so they didn’t fall off altogether. Ringing my dad to help us before I murdered him!

CocoaGin Sun 22-Apr-18 22:22:51

There are probably about 9 days a year that they can sit with their bifolds open. I'd have cheered and made them feel special, myself. Let a few party poppers off and cracked open the prosecco to share their joy grin.

Gemini69 Sun 22-Apr-18 22:23:04

OOh how wonderful to have the weather to sport such a thing grin

Myimaginarycathasfleas Sun 22-Apr-18 22:23:11

Ooh er missus...

IntelligentYetIndecisive Sun 22-Apr-18 22:25:32

grumpy4squash, they're giant shutter style windows that can fold open, leaving a gaping great hole in the back of the house.

NotUmbongoUnchained Sun 22-Apr-18 22:27:14

I didn’t know what bifolds were so had to google. We have them grin

I call it the accordion door.

IntelligentYetIndecisive Sun 22-Apr-18 22:27:53
