If someone has just had a bath and a family members wants to use the same water, but the person who has had the bath before (their water) doesn't want them to, but the family member who wants to use the water doesn't care it's dirty, do they still get to use it?

Erm...

I can't really see what harm it would do; on it's own, to be honest. It's really not worth stressing over... it's like something I'd have argued with my sisters about aged 8.

Why doesn't the person who has had a bath use their brain and remove the plug?

The bath runner and first user may have wee’d in it and doesn’t want to admit it?

Are the users children or adults?

I don’t understand why person one would care if person two wanted to get in the bath once they’d finished...,,but if it’s a real issue for them, yes, just pull the plug out!
Bit weird to be bothered though Confused

I think this is one of those cases where everyone has to agree. Also, there's something in that water...

It's a teenager (not an adult) and an adult.

Why doesn't the first person want the second person to use their water I don't understand why once some one has got out the bath they care about what happens to the water.

Also if the water is cold and dirty then yes why doesn't the first pull the plug.

Unsure why this is an issue

Strange. Why would the person who’s just used the bath water care?! It sounds like they are deliberately winding up the other person (are they siblings by any chance?!) so I think they should leave the water.

Person 1 clearly has no environmental conscience.

Frankly I think 1 is being selfish for no reason, what does it matter to them.

I use my baby’s bath water quite often.

Does the original user of the bath water feel self conscious about their dirt or possibly (sorry, bit ick) bodily fluids? Would the anticipation of future embarrassment stop them enjoying their bath?

There’s a reason they don’t want to share the water....

I’m going to say this sensitively.

if the teenager is male I would imagine he has had a wank and doesn’t want the adult to be lounging in his semen.

Yuck! That’s disgusting! Why does the second person want to use the bath water?

When I was younger I was bothered about my younger sibling having my bathwater during my period. Maybe it’s this?

Surely the baths cold now after faffing around asking on here.

I wouldn't get in anyone's grubby bathwater, that seems a bit gross. I'd also think it was odd if someone wanted to use my old bathwater.
