AIBU?

Overgrown Pubic Bush- AIBU to ask him to trim??

Just musing to distract myself from endless Paw Patrol....
My ex had REALLY long pubes. About 3 inches long and I found it really unpleasant to have to wade through a huge overgrown bush. He wasn't very well endowed either so the long pubes didn't help and they'd get caught as the odd one grew quite far down his actual penis 😩 Is it unreasonable to ask a bloke to trim? He didn't care what I did with mine but they were tamed into a neat triangle at the front and shaved or waxed underneath. What's the etiquette here for future reference?

Why? I'm deadly serious. I'm sure some people take great delight in reporting posts for no good reason Hmm

I've asked mine to trim before - however he went 100% overboard and shaved the whole lot off which I didn't like at all either!!

I have no idea of 'the etiquette'. He's your ex so presumably you have found someone who has pubes that meet your exacting standards.

Is Paw Patrol really that bad? I have teenagers.

Etiquette - his body he can do what he likes with it.

You can tell him that you don't like a particular look but up to him if he wants to do anything about it.

Not going to beat around the bush, why are you thinking about your ex's pubes whilst watching paw patrol?

Hmmm I wonder ?

Fartacus my ex husband did that once and it was awful yet very funny! He got a bit carried away GrinIt's awful when it gets to the stubble stage.

Sparkling the episodes are always repeats. Not with anyone else. Staying single.
Sparkly my mind is a bit kaleidoscopey and it flits from thing to thing and sometimes it lands on some unpleasant memory Blush

If you are staying single then you never need worry about anyone else's pubes or pube etiquette. So that's good

Change the channel?

Yes pubic hair is the owners to trim /not trim but if they expect /hope their genitals to be appreciated /respected they should aim to please the recipient imo!! I like shaved and dh knows it's a quick route to some attention!

I reckon the most you could do is suggest nicely/provocatively.

Totally his choice though. I hate it when dh nags me about my pubes Hmm

Hi all,

We've had a few reports about this thread so just wanted to nip in to say

a) we have no major concerns about the OP, and

b) we're fine with pube talk.

(Blimey this is a funny old job) Grin

It's a genuine question. If you don't like it, don't click on it. You don't have to comment.
There's a lot of discussion that I've read around women being shaved or not and after this experience of really long pubes I wondered about if it was ok to ask a guy to trim. Surely that's not so weird?

Back in the day I used to get bored watching The Fimbles. Iused to prefer Bear in the Big Blue House.

I was horrified when I first had sex with my partner. OMG - it was like masses of ginger candy floss growing in the groin region!
Not only that, he had chest hair galore bursting from the top of his shirt. He had never given male grooming any thought. (In his 40s then.) He looked like a burst mattress and I told him so. I know I was rather blunt but we were able to laugh about it. He took the scissors to his body hair a few weeks later and shortened it all. I am not a fan of the hairless, body oiled look for male torsos (ugh) but this amount of body hair was gross.
