Date movie.
It has alisonhannigan in and we thought it might be light hearted
It was dire. Utter crap. And I have a high threshold for crap, can watch most rubbish as long as its entertaining

Gingernaut Sun 04-Mar-18 21:09:28

YADBVU.

The worst movie has to be Van Helsing.

Christ! that was bad.

StealthPolarBear Sun 04-Mar-18 21:11:30

I've never seen it but did it have liposuction and a cat eating a dead body.
No spoiler alert. If you're stupid enough to watch this MORE FOOL YOU

Years ago when I was dating my DH, we went to see Ransom starring Mel Gibson. It was so boring I felt jealous of the bloke in front who'd fallen asleep.

WeShouldOpenABar Sun 04-Mar-18 21:13:28

You haven't seen splice then

shakeyourcaboose Sun 04-Mar-18 21:13:37

I can't remember what it was called but was meant to be 'female version' of The Hangover, was absolute mince!!

hidinginthenightgarden Sun 04-Mar-18 21:13:38

Drag me to hell was the worst film I ever saw. Utterly shite!

SharronNeedles Sun 04-Mar-18 21:14:03

Different kind of awful but never, ever watch Megan is missing.
It is the absolute worse thing you'll see.
The story line is horrifying and just upsetting, the acting is actually dreadful, almost painful to watch.

Niceandwarmandhot Sun 04-Mar-18 21:14:19

"The lair of the white worm". Didn't understand a single fucking minute of that shite!

PositivelyPERF Sun 04-Mar-18 21:14:33

Four weddings and a funeral. An absolute load of shite.

PurplePhotoFrame Sun 04-Mar-18 21:15:22

I nominate Victoria and Abdul. My mum dragged me to see it. Oh god it was utter tripe.

Niceandwarmandhot Sun 04-Mar-18 21:16:12

Hiding - not the worst I've seen, but agree it was shite (although I do think it was meant to be tongue in cheek?). We laughed at the crap special effects.

Hours later I half woke up in bed to see the horrible shadow demon hands on my curtains, stretching out to get me. I woke up fully and screamed, a lot.

Fecking "tree lined avenue" that I lived on...!

lynmilne65 Sun 04-Mar-18 21:16:31

Drag me to Hell was gringringringringringringringrin

TeeBee Sun 04-Mar-18 21:16:33

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas was the only film I've ever walked out of a cinema for. Miserable shite.

Raffles1981 Sun 04-Mar-18 21:17:10

The Human Centipede
Probably loads I could give, but I have blocked them out. Will enjoy this thread though.

ConsistentInsomniac Sun 04-Mar-18 21:17:29

Ghosts of Girlfriends Past was a particular cinematic low point for me.

TheDetectorist Sun 04-Mar-18 21:19:11

Yep Gingernaut I tried to fall asleep at cinema watching van helsing as it was so awful. Crow 2 is a close second

The80sweregreat Sun 04-Mar-18 21:19:32

Sisters. Awful film.

gingergenius Sun 04-Mar-18 21:21:19

Nope. Sharknado is truly the worst film in the world closely followed by Arctic Blast!!!!

Fosterdog123 Sun 04-Mar-18 21:22:01

Mamma Mia is bloody awful, as is Moulin Rouge. Think I only did about 5 minutes of each but it was enough.

Bookywooky Sun 04-Mar-18 21:22:43

Do you mean Bridesmaids Shakey? That is a really awful, completely unfunny film and I don’t understand why so many women like it.

OhWhatFuckeryIsThisNow Sun 04-Mar-18 21:23:05

Maybe not awful but we watched, endured Place Beyond the Pines last night. God it went on and on and on. Even Ryan Gosling sans shirt couldn't save it.

CanIhavedessertfirst Sun 04-Mar-18 21:23:22

If you'd seen the new hellraiser, you'd know that was actually the worst ever film.

bigbootsj Sun 04-Mar-18 21:23:23

Yabvu.. The worst movie EVER was without a doubt 'The Open House' on netflix. Total waste of my life.

Pixelpuffin Sun 04-Mar-18 21:24:18

I agree, most of those sound shite
Personally I hate anything with Tom Cruise or Mel Gibson
I'd rather chew my arm off
