...to think I have a CFN? (parking, diagram...)

We have snow. Quite a lot of it. On my side of the road we all live downhill from the road we live on so our driveways slope up to the road.
Us and nice NDN (who shares the top of our driveway) work quite hard to clear snow so we can get our cars in and out.
We have a neighbour who lives in front of us (I have a long driveway so nice NDN and I live behind those houses who are close to the road) who has a car that is not suited to snow. His drive is completely covered in snow. He has taken to parking just off the road on the top of my driveway.
I am pissed off that rather than getting off his arse and shovelling the snow off his own driveway he's decided to use someone else's driveway that someone else has worked to keep clear.
Do I have a CFN?

Shovel snow onto and around his car.

That's what DH said he'd do if he was home Grin

Next year I'm going to push all the snow we plough and shovel off the driveway to that side of the drive, effectively building a wall.

I have a little snowplough and today I pushed all the snow away on that corner between his drive and mine so he has a snow-free parking spot off the road. His car is now nicely parked on it but did I get an thank you? No, I did not. DH cleared his entire driveway once and not even a text to say thanks. He is a CFN, isn't he?

I was hoping to go the extra mile and get a photo but he'd gone when I was clearing snow. DD got a photo last night but it doesn't really show the CF-ness of it.

Totally cheeky fucker! Pile snow up against his doors.

Shovel snow onto and around his car.

Please please please do this. My arse of a neighbour parked in front of my house, tight to the edge of my drive, when I had spent a couple of hours breaking up the frozen snow and ice, so I could park my car, so I packed the snow tight under the front, back and around the wheels. Every fucking bit of snow I cleared away was packed around his car to refreeze solid, overnight. I could hear him screaming and shouting about going to be late for work, through the walls. It was like music to my ears. 😆

Grin Positively.

You've given me an idea if he does it again. Maybe I should go and pour water all around his car so it freezes into sheets of ice overnight.

'Cos I know you all love a good diagram...

This was a few months ago. He parked down on my drive. I had to drive over the (snow-covered) grass triangle between nice NDN's drive and mine to get around him.
I've included text. The entire drive is mine but NDN has the right to use the section between his drive and the road. He helps maintain that section of drive and will clear my entire driveway of snow if I am not able to and is always happy to help me out if DH is away and there's something I can't do for myself. This is what pisses me off - NDN and I help each other and work to help each other out and CFN comes in like a fucking cuckoo and plonks his car on someone else's nicely clear drive.

Of course you have a CFN. Can't be arsed to clear their own driveway so they're blocking yours.

We can get in and out but I'm just annoyed that rather than clearing his own drive he's looked at mine and thought "Hmm, that's nice and clean, I'll park there"

You can get in and out now. What if you or NDN needed a lorry to come for some reason, or were having family to stay?

He should have spent some time clearing a car sized spot on his own drive.

You getting in and out isn't the issue though is it? He's parked on your land ffs.

My son-in-law spent a couple of hours outside their house digging his car out of the snow and made a nice big space round it. He went to get milk and bread and came back 5 Minutes later to find some fucker had parked in the space. He took the rage and screamed, jumped up and down and then covered the car completely in snow packing it in!

Exactly, or just parallel to the road on his own land, which is the bit I cleared for him today (his car wouldn't deal with the incline on his drive).

Even with a shovel it wouldn't have taken more than 10 minutes.

Brilliant!

Where are you all, though? It's been lovely down here today - warm and sunny. I was thinking that spring was on the way at last.

CFN award right there. Snow packed around every wheel next time and water poured around ready to freeze into a sheet. Marvel as you watch him furiously spin,

What an arse. The parking at the top of your clear drive on your land is unforgivable,

So you think he shod clear his own so he is presumably physically capable. Yet as reward for his cf you cleared a spot for him?

I'm an enabler.
I cleared a space to get him off my own drive. He obviously thinks this is great because his car is safely tucked up in said cleared space but no word of thanks.
DH said to send snotty text or leave snotty note on windscreen if he does it again. Will follow DH's advice.

Kindness is a courtesy. I'd be glad to have you as a neighbour.

You sound a very nice neighbour.
There is SNOW way I would let CFN get away with this though, even if it meant getting up in the night to cover every inch of his car in a foot of tightly packed snow.
