To enjoy these roadworks

I live on a fairly busy road that is always double parked and very difficult to drive along due to this. The majority of the double Parker's are hospital staff as it's only a 10 minute walk away.
The gas main is being replaced so parking is banned st the minute. OMG it's bliss to be able to drive safely down the road. The roadworks will last for 4 weeks. I want these roadworks to last for ever. And yes they are right in front of my house.

Say whatever you want OP. But if anyone asks for a diagram, I think they should be banned from this site.

That said, what is the set up? Surely you'd also be experiencing some difficulties?

You could request the council look into residential permitted parking to reduce the volume of double parking? Obviously not great for the hospital workers but also not great for residents either.

I know what you mean, though mine isn't a parking issue.

I live in a dead end street, which is off another quietish street that links to the main road. Trying to turn right from the quietish street onto the main road can take forever at times. We really need lights or a roundabout.

I love it when roadworks take place on or near the intersection as the traffic controllers act as human traffic lights, allowing an easy flow of right hand turns into the main road.

I'm also apparently the only person in the suburb who likes the new lights over the local railway crossing as I thinks it's made it a lot safer, so maybe I'm just weird about intersections in general.
