Especially if you have daughters who play sports. Do we really want to have “woman” “girl” “female” totally redifined so that sny msle can say they are a woman? If yes- are you really ok with your daughters facing this now and in the future?

"...People don't really understand that I'm not that strong anymore, despite what I look like."

You've got to be kidding me.
I'd be willing to bet he's still far stronger than any of the women he wants to play. Strength is not the result of testosterone only.
And what exactly is he measuring it against? He's never been a woman.

Yes. I am happy with my future cis daughters living, playing and working alongside trans girls and women.

@dinosaursandtea

Why don't you actually try reading and understanding what people are saying? Nobody has said they don't want to work and live alongside transwomen. This is not what this thread is about.

Let's face it, people like you don't actually give a crap about transwomen such as myself because you ignore everything we say on these threads and don't even acknowledge us. You just want to come across as being cool and right on without wanting to think about how damaging this whole thing is.

My daughter plays county level cricket and hockey. She plays rugby as well, and trains with boys As a tall 15 year old she is closer in size to the boys she trains with than my 13 year old son, yet to get anywhere near puberty, is to the boys he plays rugby with who are the same age as him.

My entire life i have fought against being defined by the fact I have a vagina. I am not going to define other people by the fact they were born with a penis

You don’t have cis daughters FFS! You have daughters and if you’re willing to let men take over female spaces and sports, then I feel sorry for your poor daughters. I take it they’ve no interest in female sports, so don’t care that men are now identifying as women and taking first places away from women? You don’t care that men are already pretending to be women, in order to abuse women and girls, and self I’d will see an increase as presents will use self it in order to enter female spaces to abuse women and girls, like your daughters? Good for you. I’m glad you’re willing to risk women so you can be a handmaiden. In the meantime I and other women will centre women and their right to safety.

@MrsMcGarry

Men are physically stronger than women. If I played rugby with and against women then chances are I would do some serious damage.

Mrs Garry

Do you really think your 15 yr old daughter will fare well in rugby against the boys - many of whom at 15 - have the bodies of men? I have to question your judgement.

I'm also pretty sure that mixed sex rugby isn't allowed but don't quote me on that.

My sister plays rugby and it was always made very clear that boys and girls couldn't compete with each other after the age of 11.

Your daughter plays rugby with teenage boys? Bloody hell! Shock

Report
PositivelyPERF · 13/02/2018 01:23

MrsMcGarry I can guarantee that by the time your 13yr old boy reaches 15 he’ll be able to flatten your girl on the pitch. Good for you. You’ll happily fight for your son’s rights over your daughters. I’m sure she’ll really thank you for supporting men’s rights, in years to come, when she becomes aware that all the places meant for females has now been taken by men and she has no safe, female spaces.

Report
MrsMcGarry · 13/02/2018 01:25

I don't think, I know. I stand by the side of the pitch and watch her.

In junior rugby tournaments locally they split by weight as well as age,so that if you are significantly bigger than your age group you are moved up an age category.

Report
MrsMcGarry · 13/02/2018 01:26

And no she doesn't play matches against them, but they do train together.

Report
PleaseDontGoadTheToad · 13/02/2018 01:28

According to this, it is strongly recommended that girls and boys are split for rugby from the age of 12 and should only compete against each other in exceptional circumstances.

It later goes on to say, "A player should not participate in Mixed Gender teams once they have reached the age of 15."

And I do find it really sad that you are all so angry that you ignore facts. My dd is larger than a number of the boys in her year. Biological sex is not the only determinant of size. Possession of a penis does not make a person a violent monster
