Just environmental stuff in general aswell.
Like put solar panels on all new builds and blocks of flats, utilise tidal power etc surely this would help us import less Energy.
And recycle a lot more than we do like countries such as Sweden sweden.se/nature/the-swedish-recycling-revolution/

Yes of course but there is an up front cost.

Yanbu, frustrating. It it all comes down to money. Currently moving house, trying to work out how to make it greener and not rely on fossil fuels so much. I live in an area where they're trying to get a tidal power thing going but central government are dragging their heels with the go ahead. Lots of wind farms about though so 👍.

Wind farms onshore in the UK are horrible greenwash. Heavily subsidised, unreliable, need diesel backup ( they have to be turned when there's no wind) , and the cost of decommissioning is never factored in.

It is a terrible wrong turn.

We need to use less ( turn the office lights off, London! Outlaw buildings that need air con , London), have more nuclear, commute less, waste less , buy fewer gadgets etc etc.
