Directly or indirectly.

I was fearful when the Tories got in.
I was upset by Brexit and many cuts personally affect me.
I am struggling to find more work.
I am sad and anxioys by rising homelessness.

I cannot get joyful about taking benefits away from anyone...least of all the diabled and needy.

Im afraid to say i cant even get excited about benefits being cut from 'lazy scroungers.' Anyone else?

Oh and when i do retrain for a nhs role i willbe 60,000 in dept...yippie. But i need to retrain to get more work.

I think people with MH/emotional health needs are more greatly affected by austerity cuts, yes.

But if you're not being affected by austerity, it's not going to affect your MH.

Yes absolutely. My friendship group and our families have been ripped apart due to emigration during the recession (I'm in Ireland).

We struggle every day with the fallout from this.

Yes it does. I had my PiP reassessment last week. I've been sick, anxious and sleeping badly ever since. They took my mobility last year, and although I should qualify under the new ruling, you can bet your arse most won't be backdated or even awarded. I panic about losing it all this time.
Apart from this, most of the support has been cut in my area, the mental health team are frequently referring people to A&E because they cover such a vast area they often can't get out to folk. There are fewer groups to access for integration, help, support. They've been cut to the bone. As for access to mental health hospital services, if and it's a big if they can get someone into hospital, it may be in a different area hundreds of miles away. A friends dd was put into a hospital 200 miles away. There is almost no specialist CAMHS support here. All been cut to the bone. There is a drop in fortnightly, and waiting for one to one can take up to six months.

Because I work with people who are struggling and vulnerable, I see the negative effects of austerity every working day. It does get me down, but mostly it makes me angry.

All the services that used to be sources of help have been cut, access to advice services in my area is very limited, MH services are really struggling to cope, adult social care is so stretched people are waiting months for assessments and the housing situation just goes from bad to worse.

Yes I am profoundly worried about the future of the NHS in particular. I was referred for eye investigations following an optician's appointment last year. It took over 6 months to get an appointment where I was diagnosed with glaucoma (I am only early 40s so very young to have got it) and told I should start treatment within 4 weeks. I have finally got an appointment to start treatment in mid-March which will be 10 weeks after diagnosis. I think the NHS is still just about providing for people with life-threatening conditions but if your condition is non-life threatening you can no longer rely on getting timely treatment.

Yes it does. I think that people who cant get worried about people who are dying because of the cuts must be sociopaths.

I think they want everyone totally ground down and subservient. They want people in work terrified to put a foot out of line otherwize they will be either on UC or the streets.
They want benefit claimantst to just simply go away and get so despondent they stop making any claims. Obviously then people will just turn to crime to support themselves.
The NHS is near collapse, this country is supposedly one of the richest in the world but its an absolute joke.The Government has money for rubbish like Trident and aircraft carriers but wont fund the basics for the general population.
There was an article on the local news yesterday about how suicides have gone up a lot in the region. I'm not surprised as its a struggle for a lot of people.

Then you are extraordinarily lucky Silvery ESA and DLA/PiP appeals have increased to such an extent under this government that waiting times have gone from an average of six weeks to anything up to nine months. The turnover on appeals is running at around 68% so something isn't working.
As for voting leave on Brexit, may I ask your reasoning?
