To take my toddler to Sainsbury's now. I need an answer !

I am due to pick DD up (almost 2) shortly from nursery.

I am in desperate need to go shopping

Would it be unreasonable to go after nursery pick up? Even though supermarket is 15 min drive and it's rush hour and normally we come home an have play time before she goes to bed at 7?

She does love the supermarket normally to be fair. We do often end up with random things in the trolly and sometimes even paid for and realised at home (thank you DD for the dried sage leaves)

I feel quite sure when my DDs were little and i needed shopping i just took them and went to the supermarket. If you need shopping then that's what you do surely? Am i missing something?

But it's a few hours to bedtime, not a few minutes...A trip to sainsburys will be fine, and as a PP said if you throw in sausages, chips and beans at the cafe she'll probably love it even more!

This has to be the most pointless thread ever! I think children are allowed in supermarkets..... There are 5 hours between 2pm and 7pm so I think you have time to go. Am I missing something?
