AIBU?

To ask if anyone works at Specsavers?

Blatant traffic-attraction post here. I'm trying to track down a ladies specs frame which Specsavers used to stock. They're by Cheap Monday and the frame is called 'Thirsty Monday'.
They were reduced when I got them at my local store late last year and are no longer shown on the website, so presume now discontinued nationwide. I can't find them online (international search!) or at any other seller.
I can't tell you how much I loved them and how distraught I am at losing mine. I know - in the greater scheme of things it's totally a first world problem.
So - I had a lightbulb moment to ask on here. Is there a kindly Specsavers assistant on Mumsnet who could see if it's sitting gathering dust in the reduced section of their place of work? Thank you!

Try eBay - I got a pair of frames that I loved and had broken. You can then ask an opticians to glaze them, although there may be a glazing fee in addition to the lens price.

Have you tried calling some other local specsavers branches? They might have the tester frames knocking about?
Otherwise TK Maxx sell glasses frames but theres no guarantee you'll find them.
They have some similar looking ones online but you won't know how they'll fit...
TK Maxx Similar

My experience of tracking down ex-stock is based on some glittery pink Vans not glasses though!

Quick update if anyone is interested and to say thanks for all the good ideas. I did contact Specsavers in Sweden and they said the brand was discontinued. So I've given up (apart from a saved search on eBay) and bought a different, o where near as nice, pair. Who'da thunk a lost pair of specs could leave someone so forlorn!
